These days, as the World Cup atmosphere is getting hotter, soccer fans and those who like to travel start talking more about Brazil.
Located in Rio de Janeiro, the ancient capital of Brazil, Ipanema has long been a choice for many travel enthusiasts. However, historically, this place was not a famous tourist destination until 1962 when the song “The girl from Ipanema” was played on music systems around the world.
Tourists began flocking to Ipanema with curiosity about a beautiful girl and the attractive Ipanema sea, which inspired two talented artists to compose wonderful melodies. Over time, the charm of this sea has replaced the initial curiosity of many tourists.

Geographically, Ipanema is adjacent to Copacabana and Leblon beach, but this beach is a completely different place compared to its two neighbors. That is because the surrounding road system is linked into a network as well as the relatively good tourist infrastructure system, easily creating comfort for any tourist, especially for those who set foot on this new land for the first time.
Ipanema opens up to visitors a land filled with sunshine and wind with clear blue beaches. Famous for its hot samba and bright smiles, it is not difficult to understand that when coming here, visitors will witness a vibrant, bustling atmosphere that is hard to find on any other beach in the world. These are outdoor activities such as beach volleyball, head and toe volleyball (using only the head and feet), soccer on the beach sand, etc. And of course, spontaneous samba dances performed by locals and cheerful tourists.

For tourists who want to relax and enjoy the summer of the tropics, they can visit small bars near the beach, enjoy a cocktail with a special flavor and relax to the attractive melodies.
Besides the natural advantages, Ipanema also attracts tourists at the Hippie market or "Feira Hippie de Ipanema". This is an ancient market that opened in 1968 with more than 400 stalls. Initially, this market was a gathering place for hippies (liberal and eccentric people) to sing to each other, but gradually with the development, it became a flea market selling all kinds of goods such as food, handicrafts, clothes, etc. Tourists can stop by here to buy for themselves a unique souvenir at a very affordable price, if not much cheaper than other markets.
