Visitors can walk through a snow tunnel up to 20 meters high on the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route in Japan.

This is the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, a road connecting the Toyama and Nagano prefectures. In mid-winter, the route is covered in snow, but from spring to early summer, a section of the road is opened to host the "Snow Walk" event.

Previously, to fully open the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Router, snow had to be cleared in the spring to ensure the route from Bijoudaira Station to Murodou was passable. However, in 1993, after the popular "Snow Walk" event, it became an annual event. The 2019 event was held from April 15th to November 30th.
