An unexpected journey unfolds into unforgettable experiences.
Khánh Linh had long dreamed of visiting Tân Lập Floating Village. After a business trip to the Mekong Delta in 2020, she fell in love with the pristine beauty of the area. For nearly five years living in Ho Chi Minh City, she tirelessly searched for information about Tân Lập Floating Village on travel forums.
One morning, the invitation, "Are you free tomorrow morning? Let's go to Tan Lap Floating Village?" made her agree immediately. Unexpectedly, without any prior preparation, it turned out to be a memorable experience for the female traveler.
Located about 100 km from Ho Chi Minh City, it only takes a short travel time to fully enjoy the green space at Tan Lap Floating Village.
Khánh Linh and her travel companion had a very interesting journey to Tân Lập Floating Village. On the way from Ho Chi Minh City to the tourist area, the weather was sunny, but then it suddenly turned into a strong storm. They stopped at a rest stop, ate a plate of sour fish rice, took a nap, and then the weather cleared up. When they arrived, the weather was beautiful and everything was peaceful and quiet.
Khanh Linh shared: "I don't know if my travel companion was excited, but I was super happy. It was like a child finally getting something they'd wanted for a long time. The most impressive thing about arriving here was how quiet and peaceful everything was. Probably because it hasn't been heavily developed for tourism yet, and maybe also because it was a weekday when I went."

A moment of peace in the heart of Dong Thap Muoi
Visiting Tan Lap Floating Village, tourists feel as if they have stepped into a vibrant ink painting in the heart of the Dong Thap Muoi region. Here, nature has bestowed a pristine and unusually peaceful beauty. Visitors can immerse themselves in the fresh air, listen to the chirping of birds, and feel the cool breeze from the lush green fields.
Perhaps that's why Tan Lap Floating Village is likened to a "green gem" amidst the wetlands. During the flood season, the entire countryside seems to be adorned with a new garment, floating on the vast expanse of water. Viewed from above, Tan Lap Floating Village resembles a giant boat drifting in a sea of rice paddies.

Activities you can't miss.
At Tan Lap Floating Village, Khanh Linh participated in many interesting activities. She bought a combo tour of three main attractions for 180,000 VND, which included exploring the lotus and water lily ponds by motorboat, paddling a traditional three-leaf boat into the mangrove forest, and conquering the forest trail with the famous X-shaped bridge. However, what she enjoyed most was the moment of resting at the rest stop while waiting for the three-leaf boat. The space there was cool, gentle, and peaceful, with only the sound of wind and birds, creating a feeling of absolute relaxation.

Paddling a traditional three-plank boat allows you to enjoy the cool, gentle, and peaceful atmosphere, with only the sound of the wind and birdsong.
"Paddling a traditional three-leaf boat on the river amidst the melaleuca forest in Tan Lap Floating Village is one of my favorite experiences. The sound of flowing water, birdsong, and the scent of melaleuca create a soothing melody, helping me to completely relax and feel connected to nature," she excitedly said.
