Recently, Ms. Bui Trang Nhung took a trip to Cappadocia, a city located in central Turkey, about 290 km from the capital Ankara. Cappadocia is known as one of the most famous wonders of Turkey and was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985.
This place boasts a unique landscape of rocks and hills, formed during ancient times, approximately 3-9 million years ago. Furthermore, Cappadocia was voted one of the top 10 destinations for hot air balloon rides by Travel and Leisure magazine.

Brilliant fairytale lands
Dubbed a magical world with giant "balloons" floating in the sky, Cappadocia attracts millions of visitors each year who flock there to fulfill their dream of wandering into a fairytale land in a hot air balloon. As someone who loves to travel and share her experiences, Trang Nhung certainly wouldn't miss the chance to capture these beautiful moments.
According to the female travel blogger, seeing a real hot air balloon here is a matter of luck. This is because hot air balloon companies only operate in the mornings, from around 5:30 to 6:30 AM, and don't fly every day because even a slight gust of wind can force them to stop. A hot air balloon typically carries 15-20 passengers, each paying 5-10 million VND depending on the chosen company.

“I dedicated the first morning to the most important photoshoot, hoping to capture the moment of a sky full of hot air balloons and sitting on a swing suspended from the very hot air balloon I rented. I was nervous and overwhelmed by everything, so my productivity wasn't as high as expected. I even forgot to film a video for this first shoot. Sitting on the swing wasn't easy either because it wasn't stable, so it shook, tilted, and made me dizzy... The hot air balloons only flew across the sky for about 40 minutes, so the whole team had to race against them. We had to adjust our shooting positions to suit the wind direction that day,” the woman in her 30s confided.
In addition, Cappadocia is also known as "Katpatuka," meaning "land of beautiful horses." It's considered an ideal choice for those who want to take nomadic photos with their steeds amidst the majestic valley landscape. The winding trails and bizarre rock formations create a magnificent scene reminiscent of a Hollywood blockbuster.

The female travel blogger recounted: "My scariest experience was walking amidst a herd of galloping horses. That feeling of anxiety and trembling still lingers. I stood there wondering whether I should do it or not, whether I should give up or not. But because I was thinking about the outcome, I tried to 'close my eyes and keep going'."
Most of the limestone mountains, valleys, and caves in Cappadocia were formed naturally. Therefore, it was the vast and majestic natural landscape that overwhelmed Trang Nhung and made her want to create a unique and novel photo series there.
The location the female travel blogger visited was a cave that was virtually unknown only to locals, as it had no name and wasn't a famous landmark. The photographer recounted that it was a fissure in the mountain created by earthquakes and seismic activity. Over time, people discovered it and found the light shining through the gap was beautiful. Inside, the rock face resembled the face of a man, which was quite interesting. Many couples, including brides and grooms, lined up outside waiting for their turn to take photos. Getting inside wasn't easy either, as the opening was quite small, and the space was hot and dusty due to the sand and dirt.
The location the female travel blogger chose to shoot her ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) photos was a cave that was virtually unknown only to the locals.
"I really want to wear an ao dai (Vietnamese traditional dress) for photos in every country I visit. And Turkey is a particularly beautiful place. I chose a modernized ao dai with a slightly mystical style. I was so proud after wearing it that many people asked about it, including the photographer. I told them it was an ao dai – the national costume of Vietnam – but designed in a more modern and fashionable way," she proudly said.
Photographer Suleymanikman's Galerie Ikman handmade rug shop is famous for its colorful and exquisitely designed rugs. During her visit, Trang Nhung captured some stunning photos that perfectly capture the traditional culture of Türkiye.

Watching the sunset from a panoramic view of the limestone valley is an incredibly magnificent and dazzling sight. “The sunset photoshoot with the glowing dress was a very emotional moment for me. I felt small amidst the vastness of nature. The entire team worked tirelessly, not wanting to miss a single moment before dark. I feel so lucky and happy to have fulfilled my wish and passion,” the travel blogger said.

"The valuable formula" before every long trip
To ensure thorough planning for each trip, at the beginning of the year, Ms. Trang Nhung prepares visa applications for all the countries she plans to visit. According to her, obtaining a tourist visa for Türkiye is currently quite difficult. It might be more convenient for those traveling independently and applying for a business visa.

During her trip to Türkiye, the female travel blogger shared: “I booked the room three months in advance and only wanted the Executive Suite. This is also one of the 5 most beautiful rooms in the hotel, with a bathtub view, chosen by travel bloggers all over the world, and costs 58 million VND per night. The hotel boasts a beautiful view, spacious rooms, a heated swimming pool, and all services are 5-star standard.”

Sharing her thoughts on the best time to travel to Türkiye, Trang Nhung advised: “I went in September, when the weather was autumnal, so it was quite cool and refreshing. In my opinion, this is the most suitable time to travel to Turkey. Because it's a land with many valleys and rocky mountains, I found the summers to be hot and sunny, while the winters were extremely cold.”
