Have brunch in Hayes
Hayes is like Saigon's Dong Khoi Street. Around 10:30 am, head to The Grove for a hearty brunch with chicken soup, salad, lasagna, and a delicious red velvet cake, while admiring the stylish people around you and the charming Hayes Street in front. After eating, take a stroll, shop for vintage items at Ver Unica, browse underground notebooks and eyewear at Minimal, get scented candles and body wash at Nancy Boy, and enjoy some ice cream at Smitten Ice Cream…

Cycle along the coast and go up the Golden Gate Bridge.
The beach here is bathed in sunshine; it's a place where couples kiss and mothers jog while pushing strollers. Crossing the beach, cycling through the fragrant forest in the early morning, along the Golden Gate Bridge, and down to Sausalito, which looks more like Greece than the United States, you'll see the legendary bright red bridge, and in the distance, white sailboats on the sea like seagulls spreading their wings in the sky.

3. Go shopping and eat seafood at Fillmore.
If you enjoy window shopping and admiring pretty girls, you definitely have to go to Fillmore. Near Fillmore, on Steiner Street, there's a Vietnamese restaurant called Saiwalks (a play on words for "Saigon" and "sidewalks") that sells pretty good pho, spring rolls, and grilled pork ribs with rice, perfect for when you're tired of Western food and starting to miss fish sauce.

Eating at Fisherman's Wharf near the coast or in the Italian quarter of Little Italy is delicious. If you're unsure what to order, try "clam chowder," a dish of various shellfish stewed with tomatoes and onions. Alternatively, the traditional crab dish is a perfectly satisfying option.
