Las Vegas and its breathtaking experiences

28/03/2026

I've been to Las Vegas three times, but only this time did I truly feel "overwhelmed" in the literal sense, enjoying the cuisine at a breathtaking height, in what's often called the "sin city."

Enjoying champagne at the Grand Canyon.

Maverick Helicopters' "Wind Dancer Grand Canyon Tour" flight opened up a spectacular journey unlike anything I had ever experienced before. Together with Danika, the young female pilot, we glided over the bustling Las Vegas Strip, crossed the arid desert, and gradually ventured deeper into the majestic folds of the Grand Canyon.

The helicopter landed in a small patch of land, like a makeshift airfield, nestled between towering red cliffs. The space was absolutely silent, a stark contrast to the hustle and bustle on the other side of the desert.

Amidst this scenery, I enjoyed a light meal with a glass of chilled champagne. The overwhelming feeling came not only from the magnificent nature, but also from the rare tranquility that made all my senses more acute than ever.

The moment of raising a glass with newly made friends, against a backdrop of blue skies and millions-of-years-old geological formations, with the deep Colorado River below… becomes an unforgettable memory. An experience worthy of being on the list of the most worthwhile journeys in the American West.

Enjoy a premium steak at "Top of the World"

Top of the World Restaurant isn't the highest restaurant in the world, as its name suggests, but it's still the highest dining spot in Las Vegas and offers some of the most impressive panoramic views of the city in the United States.

Located at The STRAT Hotel Casino & Tower, the restaurant sits at a height of over 240 meters and is renowned for its 360-degree rotating floor design. Each rotation lasts approximately 90 minutes, just enough time for a full dinner, as well as a subtle reminder for diners to make way for the next turn.

Sitting here, I savored the famous lobster steak while watching the city lights slowly transform below. The space shifted so subtly that it was almost imperceptible, until you suddenly noticed the scenery had changed. A rare experience where both taste and sight are heightened simultaneously.

Enjoy hot chocolate at the top of the tower.

The Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck at the Paris Las Vegas hotel is a miniature version of the Eiffel Tower, about half the size of the original in Paris. The structure is approximately 150 meters tall, and the observation deck on the 46th floor, where I stood, reaches nearly 140 meters above ground level. From here, the entire city of Las Vegas unfolds in a 360-degree view, brilliantly illuminated.

On a late winter evening, a cool breeze swept through, making the cup of hot chocolate in my hands feel especially warm. With just a small sip, the sweetness spread, blending with the magical beauty of the city below.

It was one of those rare moments when Las Vegas became enchantingly quiet. From above, I could gaze out at the Bellagio Fountains, the iconic resorts, and the stream of cars flowing like endless streaks of light.

Amidst all the glitz and glamour, this place offers a moment of tranquility, enough to make one realize that Las Vegas is not just about the hustle and bustle, but also has very private moments for emotional balance.

Enjoy cocktails at Alle Lounge

My choice to stay at Resorts World Las Vegas was partly influenced by the reputation of Alle Lounge on 66, a bar located on the 66th floor, nearly 200 meters high. The journey up was an experience in itself: your ears might ache from the elevator's acceleration, and waiting in line required some patience.

But in return, diners can enjoy a surprise when the elevator opens. Alle Lounge emerges like another world: luxurious, glittering, yet quiet enough to be completely separated from the hustle and bustle below. From here, the entire Las Vegas Strip stretches out like a galaxy, the lights reflecting through the transparent glass, blending with the colors of the "66 Old Fashioned" cocktail with its round ice cubes like tiny crystal spheres.

The space was luxurious yet tranquil enough for me to fully enjoy the moment from the high floor, with the soothing music of a country singer relaxing on the weekend. And I was so captivated that I drifted off to sleep without even realizing it…
