According to the organizers, the grand music festival and fireworks display on the evening of January 23rd, featuring nearly 10,000 artists and performers, is expected to attract 25,000 attendees at My Dinh Stadium. This marks the first time Hanoi has hosted a cultural and political event of international scale, with a stage system spanning 3,000m², mobile LED screens, combined with state-of-the-art 3D mapping and laser lighting technology.

The art program, titled "Under the Glorious Banner of the Party," began at 8 PM and consisted of three parts, interspersed with low-altitude fireworks displays. The highlight of the evening was a high-altitude fireworks display lasting approximately 15 minutes, concluding a spectacular and rare light show in the capital.

The entire performance was elaborately staged with 6 consecutive fireworks displays, using approximately 10,000 fireworks units, including 4,600 high-altitude fireworks, 950 fountains, and 4,400 pyrotechnic tubes—about four times the quantity of typical fireworks events in Hanoi.

High-altitude fireworks were launched at a height of 110-200 meters, with a radius of illumination up to 150 meters; meanwhile, pyrotechnic fireworks around grandstand B reached a height of 50-90 meters, creating multiple layers of light with continuously changing effects and rich shapes in the night sky. The fireworks display was arranged on the stadium roof and the area around the grandstands, along the Le Quang Dao – Le Duc Tho axis in an arc shape, to maximize the viewing range for spectators both inside and outside the stadium.

A massive fireworks display featuring nearly 10,000 high-altitude fireworks and a state-of-the-art pyrotechnics system is ready at My Dinh Stadium to celebrate the successful conclusion of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The highlight that will make tonight's event so captivating is the fireworks display, programmed with 0.0001-second precision. Nearly 10,000 high-altitude fireworks and 4,400 pyrotechnic tubes will be detonated simultaneously in sync with the music, creating a spectacular "light show" in the night sky. Notably, many types of fireworks are appearing in Vietnam for the first time, specifically designed to guide the audience's emotions through three chapters: from "Epic Song Under the Party Flag" to "Under the Glorious Banner of the Party," evoking pride and aspirations for a strong and prosperous Vietnam.

To fully appreciate the high-altitude fireworks display at My Dinh Stadium tonight, choosing the right viewing spot is crucial. According to experienced photographers and Hanoi residents, high-rise buildings with direct views of the stadium are considered "VIP viewing areas." Apartment complexes like The Matrix One (Le Quang Dao), Florence, Iris Garden (Tran Huu Duc), or the Sudico building (Me Tri) are rated as some of the best places to watch the fireworks. Additionally, high-floor apartments at The Manor, Vinhome Skylake, or the Keangnam Landmark 72 tower are also ideal choices for those who want privacy and a panoramic view of the fireworks display from above.

Hanoi residents and tourists alike quickly chose open spots around the My Dinh area to await the moment the sky lit up, celebrating a new era for the nation.

From a lower vantage point, the area around My Dinh Square and nearby streets such as Le Quang Dao, Le Duc Tho, and Do Xuan Hop remain a major attraction for crowds. However, if you're looking for a more open space, unobstructed by buildings, the Cau Giay regulating lake park (next to the Hanoi Children's Palace) is an excellent option. Although slightly further away, with the massive scale of the fireworks display this year, it's sure to be a spectacular viewing spot for tourists and Hanoi residents alike.

To ensure absolute security for this major political event and to allow the public to safely enjoy the fireworks display, the Hanoi City Police have issued a strict traffic diversion plan. From 6 PM to midnight on January 23rd, all vehicles (except those serving the Congress) will be prohibited from circulating on the main roads surrounding My Dinh Stadium, including: Le Duc Tho (section from Nguyen Hoang to Le Quang Dao), Le Quang Dao (section from Le Duc Tho to Me Tri), and Tan My, Do Xuan Hop, Nguyen Co Thach, and Tran Huu Duc streets.

In addition, authorities will restrict vehicles, especially cars, in nearby areas such as Trinh Van Bo Street, Ham Nghi Street, Nguyen Hoang Street, and the Chau Van Liem intersection overpass. To avoid disruption to traffic, people traveling from National Highway 32 towards the city center or via Thang Long Boulevard should proactively plan their routes via Ho Tung Mau - Pham Hung or travel via Xuan Phuong - Provincial Road 70. The Department of Construction has also coordinated the adjustment of bus routes to comply with the road closure plan, avoiding localized traffic congestion during peak hours before and after the fireworks display.

The fireworks display consisted of six consecutive rounds, concluding with a high-altitude fireworks show lasting approximately 15 minutes.

Hanoi City Police are particularly urging road users to voluntarily comply with regulations on road traffic safety. Especially when encountering priority vehicles with signals, people should quickly yield the right of way and strictly follow the instructions of the authorities at the scene. Maintaining environmental cleanliness at public fireworks viewing spots is also essential to ensure the image of the capital city remains beautiful in the eyes of international friends and tourists.

Tonight's "grand spectacle" of light is not only a display of engineering and technology, but also a symbol of the spirit of unity and unwavering faith of the people in the Party's leadership in the new term.
