This is considered one of the key activities aimed at creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere, while inspiring and enhancing the spiritual life of the people. This activity is part of a series of major national events, alongside the military parade, the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies of nearly 200 key projects, as well as the summary of the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.
Along with stepping up propaganda efforts, the head of government noted the need to "avoid regrettable mistakes" and to organize cultural activities well, including music nights and fireworks displays in 34 provinces and cities on the occasion of National Day on September 2nd.
Also that afternoon, representatives from the Ministry of Defense provided detailed information on the preparations for the National Day parade and march. This momentous event will involve six main forces. First are the traditional torch relay units and the Honor Guard. Next are the ceremonial artillery and the air force units flying salutes.
A representative from the Ministry of Defense stated that the parade also includes military vehicles and artillery, specialized police vehicles, naval parade forces, 12 mass parade contingents, and one cultural and sports contingent.
The parade will include four ceremonial blocks, 43 blocks representing the People's Armed Forces (comprising 26 blocks from the Army and 17 blocks from the Ministry of Public Security), along with blocks from foreign armies. In addition, the parade will feature military vehicles and artillery, specialized police vehicles, and a naval parade force. Furthermore, 12 mass parade blocks and a cultural and sports block will participate in the event.
Preparations for the September 2nd parade and march are being carried out meticulously.
In addition, the ceremony will feature supporting forces, including the honor guard, 11 military contingents and seven police contingents, along with formations and lettering organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Regarding the schedule, rehearsal sessions will take place on August 21st and 24th. The state-level preliminary rehearsal will be held on August 27th, the general rehearsal on the morning of August 30th, and the official ceremony will take place at 6:30 AM on September 2nd at Ba Dinh Square.
Given the immense political and historical significance, representatives from the Ministry of Public Security affirmed that they will ensure the highest level of security for these events, guaranteeing that they will be safe, dignified, and successful.
