The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism recommends tourists during the National Day holiday on September 2

The number of tourists is forecast to increase sharply during the upcoming National Day holiday on September 2. To ensure the legitimate rights and interests of tourists when using tourism services, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has made a number of recommendations to tourists as follows.

Tourists need to carefully research information about special travel packages, especially travel programs and hotel rooms with cheaper prices than usual, and choose businesses providing tourism services that ensure conditions according to legal regulations: Have a Business Registration Certificate, License to operate domestic and international travel services, Decision to recognize the class of tourist accommodation establishments, written notice of inspection results of minimum conditions on technical facilities and services of tourist accommodation establishments issued by competent state agencies.

Actively reconfirm information in the travel contract (booking confirmation, quality, service price, time, tour program, tour guide; facilities for tourist accommodation,...).

Proactively seek information from organizations and individuals providing tourism services on the website:http://csdl.vietnamtourism.gov.vn/.

To ensure the legitimate rights and interests of tourists when using tourism services, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has made a number of recommendations for tourists.

The Inspector of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also noted some violations so that tourists can proactively prevent them:

- Conducting tourism business without meeting business conditions, without a license to conduct domestic and international travel services, or without ensuring business conditions during operation;

- Discriminating against tourists, competing for tourists, forcing tourists to buy goods and services;

- Advertising the wrong type or class of tourist accommodation that has been recognized by a competent state agency; advertising the type or class of tourist accommodation that has not been recognized by a competent state agency.

When detecting violations, organizations and individuals are requested to promptly provide information to the Department of Tourism, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in localities and the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism via the hotline.
