Opening of direct flight connecting Thua Thien Hue to Seoul (South Korea)

On August 1, the Department of Tourism of Thua Thien Hue coordinated with Vietjet, SMC Hue Company Limited (Korea), and related units to organize the first direct flight connecting Thua Thien Hue with Seoul city (Korea).

This is also the first flight from the new terminal of Phu Bai International Airport in Thua Thien Hue province to Incheon International Airport (South Korea).

The first flight connecting Hue with Seoul was operated as a charter flight using Vietjet's modern A321 aircraft, bringing people and tourists from the ancient capital of Hue to the capital of Seoul in the land of "kimchi", and vice versa.

Passengers on the first flight were welcomed by leaders of the two localities, the tourism industry, airports, partner units, people... and especially received gifts imbued with Vietnamese and Korean cultural identities during the flight with a modern fleet, dedicated and friendly flight attendants and a variety of products and services, meeting all customer requirements.

Leaders of Thua Thien Hue province welcomed a delegation of Korean travel and media businesses to Hue.

On the charter flight departing from Phu Bai International Airport to Incheon on the morning of August 1, there were 228 passengers from Thua Thien Hue province, including a delegation promoting tourism and promoting cultural heritage of Thua Thien Hue. The delegation was led by Permanent Vice Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh to launch activities to meet, promote tourism and promote heritage in Seoul and Goechang (South Korea).

In Korea, the delegation will organize a forum to promote tourism and promote Hue cultural heritage in Seoul on August 4. Before that, the delegation will have meetings and work with a number of cultural and tourism partners in Seoul and Goechang.

On the way from Incheon to Hue, a delegation of Korean travel and media businesses flew to Hue on August 1, transporting 151 passengers to survey activities and programs aimed at bringing more Korean tourists to the ancient capital of Hue and the Central Heritage Road.

The Korean delegation will carry out a 4-day, 3-night program to visit and survey the ancient capital of Hue with activities to explore and experience destinations and products (researched and selected by the Thua Thien Hue tourism industry and Korean partners to be included in the program designed specifically for the Korean charter group) with the most unique royal cultural heritage values ​​as well as new imprints on the traditional foundation of the ancient capital of Hue.

The delegation will also be introduced to new products associated with the form of resort, health care that is being formed in the locality and experience Zen Tea associated with spiritual tourism at a Hue pagoda. The delegation will also visit a space displaying and demonstrating the tailoring of traditional Hue Ao Dai, and enjoy typical Hue cuisine: Royal, vegetarian and seafood from Tam Giang lagoon. And finally, some members of the delegation will also have a golf course experience program at Laguna Lang Co tourist complex.

Hue - Seoul (Incheon, South Korea) is the second international route that Vietjet operates at Terminal T2, Phu Bai International Airport.
