With less than half a month remaining until the official opening of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025 on the night of May 31st, themed "Da Nang - A New Era," excitement has spread throughout this beautiful coastal city. This spectacular cultural event brings together 10 fireworks teams from various countries around the world, including Vietnam, Finland, the UK, Portugal, Poland, South Korea, Italy, Canada, and China, promising top-notch artistic performances spanning six nights.
Against this backdrop, the market for fireworks viewing tickets from prime locations is more vibrant than ever. Even though the opening ceremony is still some time away, many locations with stunning views have already started selling tickets, attracting considerable interest from locals and tourists. Notably, ticket prices at some "golden" locations can reach millions of Vietnamese dong.
With nearly two weeks to go until the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF), many high-rise buildings along the Han River are competing to sell rooftop seating.
According to reports, tickets to watch the fireworks from the official grandstand have gone on sale at various prices, ranging from 1,000,000 VND to 3,500,000 VND depending on the location and grandstand category. Specifically, grandstand A3 has the lowest price at 1,000,000 VND, while grandstands A2 and A1 are priced at 1,500,000 VND respectively. Grandstand A costs 2,000,000 VND, and VIP tickets in grandstand A are listed at the highest price of 3,500,000 VND.
Various ticket classes are available in different seating locations to cater to the needs of visitors.
In addition, viewing the fireworks from cruise ships on the Han River has also received special attention. One cruise ship is offering tickets for the opening night at 1,000,000 VND for a seat on the first deck and 1,200,000 VND for a seat on the second deck, including light refreshments and drinks. A representative from the cruise ship said that tickets on the second deck are almost sold out, demonstrating the great appeal of this unique fireworks viewing experience.
Many hotels and buildings have started eagerly offering viewing spots for the fireworks display.
Furthermore, along Tran Hung Dao Street, the main thoroughfare directly in front of the festival's main stage, hotels have begun offering tickets and rooms with views of the Han River so that visitors can fully enjoy the spectacular fireworks display. At house number 193 Tran Hung Dao, the price for viewing fireworks from the rooftop is listed at 500,000 VND per person for a front seat and 400,000 VND per person for a rear seat. Especially for large groups, an apartment here is available for rent at 8,000,000 VND per room for up to 15 people.
Many groups have already contacted us to reserve seats for the opening night.
The occupancy rate for the opening night of the fireworks display at some conveniently located hotels reached approximately 40-60%. Some hotels even offered entire floors for large groups. The advantage of watching the fireworks from these higher floors is that visitors can enjoy a panoramic, unobstructed view, while also avoiding crowds and making it easier to move around after the show ends.
The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 (DIFF 2025) is the largest-scale event in the history of the competition, with 10 teams participating over 6 nights of competition from May 31st to July 12th.
Besides Tran Hung Dao Street, other streets near the Han River such as Pham Van Dong, Nai Tu 2, Ly Tu Trong… also see the appearance of services providing rooftop seating to cater to tourists' needs for watching the fireworks. Many people prefer this option because of the comfort, spaciousness, and especially the ability to move indoors if the weather is unfavorable, as well as avoiding traffic congestion after the festival ends.
Each participating team will perform for approximately 20-22 minutes, based on the theme of DIFF 2025.
With meticulous preparation and a vibrant atmosphere leading up to the opening, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 promises to deliver spectacular fireworks displays and memorable experiences for both domestic and international tourists.
