With less than half a month to go, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025 with the theme "Da Nang - New Era" officially opened on the night of May 31, the atmosphere of excitement has spread throughout this beautiful coastal city. The unique cultural event brings together 10 fireworks teams from many countries around the world such as Vietnam, Finland, England, Portugal, Poland, Korea, Italy, Canada and China, promising top-notch artistic performances lasting for 6 nights.
In that context, the market for fireworks tickets at prime locations is becoming more vibrant than ever. Although the opening ceremony is not yet near, many locations with beautiful views have begun to bustlingly sell tickets, attracting the attention of many people and tourists. Notably, ticket prices at some "golden" locations can reach up to millions of VND.
With nearly two weeks to go until the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF), many high-rise buildings on both sides of the Han River are competing to sell rooftop seats.
According to records, tickets to watch fireworks at the official stands have been opened for sale at many different prices, ranging from 1,000,000 VND to 3,500,000 VND depending on the location and class of the stands. Specifically, the A3 stand has the lowest price of 1,000,000 VND, while the A2 and A1 stands are priced at 1,500,000 VND respectively. Stand A costs 2,000,000 VND, and VIP tickets at stand A are listed at the highest price of 3,500,000 VND.
Many ticket classes in different locations to serve the needs of tourists
In addition, the services of watching fireworks from cruise ships on the Han River also received special attention. A cruise ship is offering tickets for the opening night at 1,000,000 VND for a seat on the first floor and 1,200,000 VND for a seat on the second floor, including a light meal and drinks. A representative of the cruise ship said that tickets on the second floor are almost sold out, showing the great attraction of this unique fireworks viewing experience.
Many hotels and buildings have begun to rent out locations to watch fireworks.
Not only that, along Tran Hung Dao Street, the main road located right in front of the main stage of the festival, hotels have also started selling tickets and rooms with views of the Han River so that visitors can fully enjoy the brilliant fireworks displays. At a house at 193 Tran Hung Dao, the ticket price to watch fireworks from the top floor is listed at 500,000 VND/person/seat for the front seat and 400,000 VND/person/seat for the back seat. In particular, for large groups of guests, an apartment here is also rented for 8,000,000 VND/room for up to 15 people.
At this time, many groups of guests have contacted to reserve seats for the opening night.
The occupancy rate for the opening night fireworks display at some conveniently located hotels has reached around 40-60%. Some hotels even apply the policy of selling entire floors to large groups. The advantage of watching fireworks from these high floors is that visitors can have a panoramic, unobstructed view, while avoiding jostling and making it more convenient to move around after the performance ends.
The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 (DIFF 2025) program is the largest in the history of this competition, with 10 teams participating in 6 competition nights lasting from May 31 to July 12.
In addition to Tran Hung Dao Street, the neighboring roads of Han River such as Pham Van Dong, Nai Tu 2, Ly Tu Trong, etc. also recorded the appearance of services providing rooftop seating to serve the needs of tourists watching fireworks. Many people prefer this option because of its comfort, open space and especially the initiative in moving inside if the weather is not favorable, as well as avoiding traffic jams after the festival ends.
Each team will perform for about 20 - 22 minutes according to the theme of DIFF 2025.
