The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a plan for organizing a spectacular fireworks display that will light up the sky, providing a feast of light and sound for residents and tourists as part of the political and artistic program "Homeland in Our Hearts" celebrating National Day on September 2nd.

Hanoi, the capital city, is bustling with preparations for a series of major events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the historic August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). Kicking off this festive atmosphere is a spectacular fireworks display, promising to illuminate the night sky on August 10th, creating a visually stunning feast of light and sound for residents and tourists alike.

According to official information from the authorities, this special fireworks display will take place at 10 PM on August 10th and last for 8 minutes. The chosen location is the F1 racetrack area in Tu Liem ward, a large and ideal space to ensure the best view for spectators and safety for the event.

According to the organizers, the highlight of the "National Concert" is an 8-minute fireworks display, starting at 10 PM in the F1 racetrack area, next to My Dinh Stadium in Hanoi. Despite being a concert with a political and artistic focus, "Homeland in My Heart" is expected to create a warm and accessible atmosphere, especially for the younger generation who are increasingly interested in meaningful musical events that are well-organized, professionally staged, and emotionally rich.

Hanoi will have an 8-minute fireworks display at the "National Concert" titled "Homeland in My Heart".

The elaborate display features a combination of 300 high-altitude fireworks exploding brilliantly against the night sky, creating massive bursts of light, and 60 low-altitude fireworks displays providing a dazzling and diverse effect at closer range. This combination promises an impressive visual experience, showcasing the development and modernity of the capital city.

Notably, the entire cost of the fireworks display on the night of August 10th, estimated at approximately 1 billion VND, was raised through social mobilization. This demonstrates the collective effort and contribution of the community, businesses, and organizations to major national commemorative events, spreading a spirit of unity and profound patriotism. The main purpose of organizing the fireworks display was to create an atmosphere of excitement, spread patriotism, and strengthen unity among the people of the capital, all hướng towards lofty historical values.

Not stopping at the opening fireworks display, the capital city of Hanoi will continue to be immersed in a festive atmosphere on the night of National Day, September 2nd. According to the plan, fireworks displays will be held simultaneously at five iconic landmarks in Hanoi, including Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park, Van Quan Lake, My Dinh National Stadium, and West Lake.

In particular, the highlight of the series of activities commemorating the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd will be the official ceremony, scheduled to take place at 6:30 AM on September 2nd, 2025, at the historic Ba Dinh Square and several central streets of the capital. According to the Ministry of National Defense's plan for organizing the parade and march, this event will involve approximately 30,000 people, not including the marching and parade forces. This will be a grand and solemn celebration, showcasing the strength of national unity and the great achievements that Vietnam has attained over the past 80 years.
