Food Festival at Windsor Plaza

Windsor Plaza Hotel will showcase the wonders of Malaysia at the Malaysian Food and Product Festival from 5 July to 14 July 2019 at Café Central An Dong restaurant.

At this Food Festival, diners will have the opportunity to enjoy many traditional delicacies of Malaysian cuisine in the buffet every night as well as visit and shop for specialties of this country here. The festival will also hold a lucky draw with many nightly prizes and a special prize of the program.

Two guest chefs from One World Hotel, Malaysia will present a special menu of home-cooked dishes at the dinner buffet from Monday to Friday at VND798,000++ per person, including free flow of German draught beer, juice, and soft drinks; and on Saturday and Sunday at VND898,000++, including free flow of sparkling wine, German draught beer, juice, and soft drinks.

During the festival, three different buffet menus will be served every evening, featuring traditional Malaysian dishes such as Biryani; Lamb Bone Soup; Grilled Chicken, Grilled Beef, and Lamb Skewers served with Peanut Sauce, Rice, Cucumbers, and Onions; Chilli Prawns and Petai; and Pandan Sticky Rice with Grated Coconut.

The two main chefs responsible for preparing and presenting the Malay Asian dishes at this festival are Amar Bin Abdul Rahim and Mohd Ghouse Bin Ishak. Chef Amar is the Head Chef at One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya. Meanwhile, Chef Mohd is from Georgetown, Penang with 30 years of experience in the culinary industry as a Pastry Chef.

In addition, the festival also has a number of booths introducing and selling unique traditional Malaysian products.

Café Central An Dong serves buffet every morning, noon and evening with many special flavors from Vietnam and other countries around the world. The dishes are diverse, satisfying vegetarian and non-vegetarian tastes and constantly introducing new dishes, along with many attractive culinary programs every month; every diner coming to the restaurant can find their own favorite dish.
