Leonardo DiCaprio wrote on Instagram: "The traditional fishing villages of Vietnam's bays float on turquoise waters, nestled among lush green limestone mountains. The people here make their living from fishing, aquaculture, and tourism. Lan Ha Bay possesses a paradisiacal beauty, but the unique lifestyle of its people is threatened by sewage, plastic pollution, unsustainable tourism practices, and climate change. Therefore, visitors need to join hands in protecting and mitigating the environmental impact."
