Coming to Ly Son Island in mid-July 2013, when the garlic had been harvested, instead were lush green watermelon fields, onion and sesame fields stretching as far as the eye could see. The green of the sea, of the fields and the wild grass growing between the vast, endless hills and mountains captivated travelers at first sight. The green of the sea and islands helped Ly Son appear more prosperous, the fields and gardens more fertile, and one thing is for sure, this place is not only about wind graves.

The vast valley is covered with green trees and grass.
After arriving in Ly Son, visitors will not have difficulty finding a motorbike taxi or a motel near the pier. Although the motels here do not have full facilities, they are clean, spacious, and have electricity and fresh water. After dropping your luggage at the motel, traveling around the island by motorbike is an attractive and interesting experience that any tourist coming to Ly Son cannot miss.
Starting with the lush green watermelon fields, large and long fruits lying across the fields. Here, you can be led by the gentle, friendly and hospitable locals to the garden to pick watermelons for free and eat them right there. The fresh green melons, bright red flesh, sweet, dispel the heat of the midday summer sun, and especially the melons here are not sprayed with pesticides. The garden owner said that because the price of melons is very cheap, people cannot make a profit if they have to buy more chemicals.

The way to visit Duc Pagoda
After passing through the endless onion and sesame fields, scattered with wind graves along the road, visitors will arrive at Hang Pagoda, Duc Pagoda and Thoi Loi Mountain. The scenery here is immense and boundless. The immense sea blends with the jade green of the sky and clouds. The rolling hills are covered with the green of grass and trees.
Like many other tourists, everyone said goodbye to Ly Son with regret and promised to return to visit the island. Hopefully, Ly Son will still maintain its "salty" beauty as it is now, still covered in lush green that captivates travelers...
