"I want to explore beautiful landscapes but also want to participate in adventurous activities such as mountain climbing, visiting caves, and boating on rivers. Besides, Ninh Binh also has many historical and cultural sites such as ancient temples and pagodas, along with the typical cuisine of this land, which is worth experiencing." That is the reason why Mr. Tran Minh Thien, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, chose to explore Ninh Binh and "fell in love" with this place right from the first meeting.

Considered as a treasure of the North Central region, Ninh Binh attracts tourists with its poetic landscapes and special historical imprints. From majestic mountain peaks, mysterious caves to peaceful rivers with smooth boats on the river, Ninh Binh captivates tourists with memorable adventurous experiences. Not only satisfying the passion for adventure, Ninh Binh also brings us closer to ancient eras through beautiful historical architectural works, ancient temples and pagodas imbued with Vietnamese culture.

With limited time during his trip to Ninh Binh, Minh Thien chose unique destinations that are rich in culture and nature of this land. Although he could not explore all the famous places, he was extremely satisfied when he was able to immerse himself in the wonderful experiences here.
"My favorite is Hang Mua, although it is not as famous as other famous places, I have a special affection for this place. The first impression when I arrived here was a huge lotus pond at the foot of the limestone mountains. Going deeper into the foot of the mountain, you will see steps leading to the top of the mountain like a miniature Great Wall. When you reach the top of the mountain, you will see the winding rivers flowing through the limestone mountains, the rowing boats looming on the water", Mr. Minh Thien shared about the special impression that Hang Mua brings.

Conquering 500 steps, standing on top of Hang Mua, watching the entire Ninh Binh sunset is an unforgettable experience.
As a person who is passionate about conquering nature, it is not surprising that all of his most impressive experiences are not far from the majestic beauty that nature has bestowed. His most unforgettable experience was the time he took a boat to visit the underground cave system in the Trang An relic complex.
Sharing with Travellive, he said: "I got to take a boat into Dot cave, the longest cave in Trang An. It doesn't receive sunlight all year round, but the cave has a modern lighting system so people can still admire the mysterious beauty of the magical stalactites. The width of Dot cave changes unexpectedly, there are sections where the ceiling is low so I have to bend down close to the boat."
Trang An scenic area is considered one of the beautiful "wonders" of Vietnam. Coming here, visitors will experience wonderful moments on a boat drifting in the middle of the vast river. The boat will take visitors to explore all the wonders of Trang An. There is nothing more wonderful than sitting on a boat and passing through 12 mysterious caves, admiring the majestic scenery of Ninh Binh mountain range, so beautiful that it is breathtaking.

The best time to travel to Trang An, Ninh Binh is from January to March of the Lunar calendar. This is the spring season, the weather is warm, pleasant and attracts many people to temples and pagodas to pray for luck. Besides, this is also an opportunity for tourists to freely participate in the traditional festivals of the ancient capital Hoa Lu, such as the Lau Flag Festival on the 8th - 10th of the 3rd lunar month. If you want to enjoy the beautiful rice fields and lotus ponds, coming to Trang An from June to August will be a great choice.
Every spring - summer - autumn - winter, Trang An puts on a new coat. And at every time of the year, visitors can find things worth exploring here.
A memorable trip not only left by the natural scenery or the layers of cultural space, but also by the presence of the most ordinary people that Mr. Thien met in the ancient capital.
"The people here are very friendly and warmly welcome tourists. They are always ready to help and guide tourists in exploring this land. Regarding the way of doing tourism in Ninh Binh, I feel that this land still retains its characteristics when favored by nature. The system is systematic and unified, the tourist attractions are not crowded, jostling, the places to eat and drink I noticed all have menus and prices listed in front of the restaurant, you can refer to them before deciding to use the service", Mr. Thien shared.
