In late September, before the cold winds and lingering rains arrive, nature generously bestows upon this country a period of unusually warm and beautiful weather. It's a time when, no matter where you position your camera, you'll find a stunning backdrop for your shots. It's also the time when the red leaves of maple trees intermingle with the spreading branches of oak and birch trees, their leaves turning a brilliant golden yellow along the roadsides and in the parks, bathed in the golden, honey-like sunlight of autumn.

Visiting Russia in autumn truly reveals the full flavor of nature. Everywhere is filled with the golden hues of plants and flowers. Golden leaves settle on the hair of passersby, on window sills, on mossy steps, and on oak benches in parks. Leaves follow every step on the grass, playfully dance with children in the garden, and weave vibrant colors across the treetops. It seems that only in autumn do the leaves fully display their dazzling beauty. A gentle breeze rustles the leaves, swirling and swaying before gently settling on the grass. It's an autumnal symphony, with the wind as the conductor and the falling golden leaves as the stirring notes. A couple strolls leisurely through the park. On an oak bench by the lake, a young woman sits thoughtfully, a book half-closed in her hand, her eyes reflecting a distant sadness.

The migratory birds had begun heading south towards warmer climates, seeking refuge for the winter. Late in the afternoon, as the setting sun painted Lake Baikal red, the birds hurried towards the setting sun. The flapping wings of cranes and the incessant calls of countless other birds echoed through the air. Elegant swans held their heads high, gliding gracefully across the calm lake. The hollowed-out tree trunks in the forest, after the rain, had begun to sprout mushrooms and wood ear fungus. The village children had a bountiful harvest today, wandering through the forest. Each child carried back a basket full of ripe strawberries, creamy white shiitake mushrooms, and one little girl even brought back a basket of pine cones. These natural products would be used for the afternoon's feast in the apple orchard. To celebrate a bumper apple harvest, the farmers of the surrounding area had gathered to prepare a feast. In the orchard laden with apples, the table was set, the samovar filled with the fragrant aroma of cinnamon tea, baskets overflowed with ripe red apples, and fragrant apple pie was about to be served. Everyone gathered around, chatting and laughing incessantly. In a corner at the foot of an apple tree, two brown squirrels were also having their own feast, nimbly nibbling on the first apples of the season that had just fallen onto the soft grass.

The weather is cool and crisp, and night falls amidst a hazy mist. Russia is as beautiful as a poetic and romantic painting from September to November each year.
It's no coincidence that Russian autumn has been immortalized in poetry and literature, captivating millions. Nature unfolds in a breathtaking golden hue. A serene autumn sky evokes feelings of love and longing in visitors, prompting them to return. The distant trees are left behind… The last rays of golden light are clear and gentle, like the warm, kind eyes of a Russian woman, invitingly offering a tray of dark bread and salt.
