Starlux's self-check-in baggage counters at Terminal 2 offer passengers convenience and speed in checking in their luggage. Here, passengers can easily use a touchscreen to print baggage tags, then attach the tags to their luggage and place it on the conveyor belt. The automated system will transport the luggage to the security area and then onward to the aircraft.
In particular, to ensure a smooth check-in process, a support team is always present around the self-check-in counters, ready to assist passengers when needed. As a result, checking in luggage has become simpler, faster, and more convenient than ever before.
Da Nang International Airport officially puts its self-service baggage drop-off system into operation.
The integration of the self-check-in system allows passengers to experience a fully automated service from check-in, baggage drop-off, immigration, to boarding. As a result, the check-in process is shortened, the passenger experience is enhanced, and the efficiency of terminal services during peak hours is improved, ensuring smooth traffic flow.

Alongside the implementation of automated systems in the airport check-in process, Da Nang International Airport Terminal Investment and Exploitation Joint Stock Company (AHT) - the operator of Terminal T2, is also collaborating with FPT Technology Group to develop the first smart airport terminal model in Vietnam.
These two entities will collaborate on building a new website, a rating and information lookup system, and an AI-powered camera system to measure crowd density in check-in areas. The deployment of these advanced technological solutions promises to provide passengers with a safer, more convenient, and modern experience.
