The first airline at the International Passenger Terminal (Terminal T2), Da Nang International Airport, Starlux Airlines, has provided passengers with automatic baggage check-in service by integrating the self-check-in system into the airline's check-in process.

Starlux Airlines' self-check-in baggage counter at Terminal 2 offers passengers convenience and speed in checking in their baggage. Here, passengers can easily operate on the touch screen to print baggage tags, then stick the tags on their baggage and place them on the conveyor belt. The automatic system will transport the baggage to the security control area and then transfer it to the plane.

In parallel with the deployment of an automated system in the aviation check-in process, Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT) - the operator of Terminal T2, is also cooperating with FPT Technology Group to develop the first smart airport terminal model in Vietnam.

Together, the two companies will build a new website, a rating and information retrieval system, and an artificial intelligence camera system to measure crowding at check-in areas. The deployment of these advanced technology solutions promises to bring passengers a safer, more convenient and modern experience.
