Opened in 1999, Nobu Malibu is one of 25 Nobu restaurants worldwide, owned by Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa, serving a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine. Located on the Pacific Coast Boulevard, Nobu boasts not only beautiful and romantic ocean views but also a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere.

Nobu's interior design is also noteworthy. Combining traditional Japanese style with a minimalist and modern approach, Nobu Malibu offers a luxurious, understated, and meditative East Asian atmosphere that has long been admired by Westerners.

When asked why he chose to combine Japanese and Peruvian cuisine, Nobu replied that he had once lived in Peru and found cooking Japanese food difficult because he couldn't find similar ingredients. As a result, he had to substitute them with local Peruvian ingredients. In a twist of fate, this unusual fusion culinary style has now become exclusive to the global Nobu brand.

Few people know that the co-founder of the Nobu restaurant chain is actor Robert De Niro. Perhaps thanks to De Niro's close connections in the entertainment industry, Nobu has become a reputable destination for many celebrities, from actors, singers, models, and athletes to entrepreneurs and billionaire investors.
