Coming to Saigon at this time, visitors not only enjoy the emotional last days of the year but also immerse themselves in the brilliant Christmas atmosphere at Notre Dame Cathedral. The splendid beauty of the church is like a majestic palace, surprising and delighting both locals and visitors.
This year, Notre Dame Cathedral has decorated LED lights up to 500,000 m, 6 times higher than last year's 80,000 m, covering the entire church and surrounding grounds. It is known that Notre Dame Cathedral will be lit from 5:30 pm to midnight and continue to light up from 4:30 am to 6:00 am the next morning, bringing a sparkling and warm space in the heart of Saigon.
Photographer Vu Khoa, who took the photo series, shared: "On Christmas Eve, taking photos of Notre Dame Cathedral from above is so vivid. Tourists from all over flock to admire the magical beauty of the building, so much so that many people on the street have to stop their cars to look and take photos. The light from hundreds of thousands of LED lights reflects on the stone walls, creating a brilliant space."
Notre Dame Cathedral is not only a prominent historical building, but also becomes a typical symbol of the brilliant Christmas season.

Notre Dame Cathedral is a famous religious symbol in Ho Chi Minh City, attracting a large number of people and domestic and international tourists. The major restoration project of Notre Dame Cathedral began on July 1, 2017, carried out by Monument Group (Belgium). The restoration cost was self-funded by the Archdiocese of Saigon, with support from domestic parishioners and overseas Vietnamese, helping the church preserve its beauty and historical value over the past centuries.
Let's take a look at these photos from above to the ground taken by photographer Vu Khoa:
