This year’s White House Christmas decoration theme is “American Treasures,” honoring the unique heritage of the United States. Continuing the tradition of previous years, 105 ivy wreaths are hung in each window. In addition, 40 string-of-pearl trees line the East Hallway of the White House. The house is a symbol of the wonderful things found across this country.

The stunning White House was decorated by First Lady Melania Trump and was created by 225 volunteers from all 50 states. Melania Trump said: “This is a happy time of year when we come together to decorate the White House for Christmas. Our theme celebrates the heart and spirit of the American people. Thank you to the many volunteers and staff who have worked so hard to decorate the house for Christmas. On behalf of my family, we wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Take a walk around the White House and get in the Christmas spirit.
