A highlight event that will attract a large number of tourists to Da Nang during the holiday is the Da Nang Golf Tourism Festival 2023, taking place from August 24th to September 2nd. The festival's main event is the BRG Open Championship Danang 2023, attracting 144 top professional golfers from across Asia, along with numerous networking and experiential tourism activities.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Binh, Deputy Director of the Da Nang City Department of Tourism, said: “Organizing a golf tournament in Da Nang aims to promote the city's image, but we are combining it with the Da Nang Golf Tourism Festival 2023 to showcase more of Da Nang's cuisine, culture, and people. Besides expanding tourism opportunities so that visitors can stay longer and experience more golf courses, we are developing and implementing programs and policies to attract events, conferences, and seminars combined with tourism. This will contribute to the development of MICE tourism and Da Nang's tourism development strategy towards high-quality tourism.”
