Cayo Jutias

Not many foreign tourists visit Cayo Jutias, a beach west of Viñales. It's a great place to eat lobster, drink rum and enjoy this stunning Caribbean beach with Cubans.
Playa Giron

The Bay of Pigs was the site of a failed CIA-backed attack to overthrow Cuba’s revolutionary regime. It also has some stunning beaches, including Playa Giron. Come here to relax on the sand and explore the Zapata Swamp, one of the world’s largest mangrove swamps.
Varadero

It's home to Cuba's biggest and most touristy hotels, but there's no denying Varadero is a great beach. Even if you want to avoid the crowds, it's worth a visit.
Playa Pilar

Peaceful and tranquil, you can always find a spot to yourself at Playa Pilar. The beach was named after writer Ernest Hemingway’s yacht, which he often moored there during his time on the island.
Playa Ancon

This is one of the most beautiful beaches in southern Cuba, famous for diving and coral viewing.
Playa Esmeralda

Just 5km from the town of Guardalavaca in eastern Cuba lies this perfect beach. There are two luxury hotels here, both of which are great places to stay if you want to indulge a little.
Playa Frances

Nestled in a secluded spot on Isla de la Juventud in southern Cuba, this charming 3km beach is often completely deserted. Playa Francés is located in a nature reserve and offers snorkelling nearby.
Maria La Gorda

Just off Cuba's westernmost point is this palm-fringed beach, a favorite with divers, and has been named one of the top ten diving spots in Latin America.
