Cayo Jutias
Not many foreign tourists visit Cayo Jutias, a beach west of Viñales. It's an ideal spot to eat lobster, drink rum, and enjoy this breathtaking Caribbean beach with the Cubans.
Playa Giron
The Bay of Pigs is the site of a failed CIA-backed attack aimed at overthrowing the Cuban revolutionary regime. It also boasts stunning beaches, including Playa Giron. Come here, relax on the sand, and explore the Zapata wetlands, one of the world's largest wetland areas.
Varadero
This is home to some of Cuba's largest and most crowded hotels, but there's no denying that Varadero is a fantastic beach destination. Even if you're looking to avoid the crowds, it's still worth a visit.
Playa Pilar
At the peaceful and tranquil Playa Pilar, you can always find a spot all to yourself. The beach is named after the yacht of writer Ernest Hemingway, as he often anchored his boat here during his time on the island.
Playa Ancon
This is one of the most beautiful beaches in southern Cuba, famous for its diving and coral viewing opportunities.
Playa Esmeralda
Just 5 km from the town of Guardalavaca in eastern Cuba lies this perfect beach. There are two luxury hotels here, both excellent places to stay if you want to pamper yourself a little.
Playa Frances
Nestled in a secluded spot on Isla de la Juventud in southern Cuba, this charming 3-kilometer-long beach is often completely deserted. Playa Francés lies within a nature reserve and offers opportunities for snorkeling and diving nearby.
Maria La Gorda
Just outside Cuba's westernmost point lies this palm-lined beach, a favorite spot for divers. It's been named one of the top ten diving destinations in Latin America.
