Vietnamese beaches are often compared to the Maldives.

For those who love beach travel, you're probably familiar with the Maldives, known as the "paradise of islands." And in Vietnam, there are also stretches of white sand beaches with crystal-clear blue waters that are considered "mini Maldives."

Ly Son (Quang Ngai)

Ly Son is an island district often described as a "precious gem" of Quang Ngai province. For a long time, it has been given numerous titles by travel enthusiasts, such as the Vietnamese version of Jeju Island or the Maldives. The island is known to be the remaining trace of a volcano with five craters, formed approximately 25-30 million years ago.

Ly Son consists of Big Island and Small Island, blessed with natural beauty thanks to its colossal ancient cliffs and stunningly clear blue waters. From Big Island, tourists can take a canoe to Small Island and enjoy swimming at Coconut Beach. The seawater here is quite clear and calm, perfect for those who prefer peace and unspoiled nature.

Ky Co (Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh)

When mentioning the coastal areas dubbed the "mini Maldives" of Vietnam, it's impossible to overlook Ky Co - a beach located in Nhon Ly commune, only about 20 km from the center of Quy Nhon city (Binh Dinh province).

Upon arriving here, many are surprised to see a pristine white sand beach stretching beneath strangely shaped rock formations. The seawater here has two distinct colors: near the shore, it's a clear, translucent blue, allowing you to see the bottom; further out, the water is a captivating deep blue.
