The name Pa Sy is a mispronunciation by the Kinh people of the original name Pau Suh, meaning "three streams converging into one."

At an altitude of approximately 1,500 meters above sea level, the gentle coolness and fresh air of the pristine wilderness of Mang Den, often referred to as the "Da Lat" of Kon Tum, offer an incredibly refreshing and relaxing feeling. The path to the waterfall winds through a primeval forest, shaded by lush greenery year-round. During the rainy season in the Central Highlands, the water in the small streams flows gently into the springs, the increased volume of water creating a resounding echo of the mountain forest.
