Calculate the price increase
At many tourist destinations, service providers offer tourists very attractive prices, but when paying, many people are shocked to have to pay a large sum of money. The reason is that the price remains the same but the way of calculating the money has changed, this is a "rip-off" trick that makes tourists unable to be vigilant from the beginning.
Some experiences of previous customers have become lessons for others, such as horse riding services on some beaches in the North. Instead of paying 200,000 VND/hour of horse riding as the initial listed price, many tourists have to pay up to 500,000 VND. The calculation method given by the horse riding service owner is initially calculated by the hour but after the ride, it is calculated by steps. And the price for each step of the horse is 10,000 VND, multiplied by 4 times because they explain that horses have 4 legs.
At some beaches in the South, this rip-off is also applied. When ordering a fish hotpot, the price is quoted at 150,000 VND. At the end of the meal, visitors may have to pay 3 or 4 times more because the staff explains that the listed price is only for the hotpot broth, the remaining amount is for fish and vegetables.

Trash collection fee
Learning from experience of being ripped off, many tourists when eating at tourist attractions carefully bargain for each item and each weight when buying fresh food. But when paying, the bill is still an unbelievable number, because they forgot to ask for the price of additional items including chili sauce, salted lemon seasoning, wet towels, tissues and garbage collection fees.

In addition, it is impossible not to mention the trick of taking advantage of public places, setting up stalls to collect money from tourists. At a climbing spot, it is not by chance that in many streams there are basins to collect water. Many tourists when coming here are tired, seeing the cool water immediately come to wash their faces. After washing their faces, they realize that this is a local stall and are charged a fee.
