How to get there?
- The fastest and cheapest way to get from Ljubljana (capital of Slovenia)) to Nova Gorica is to take the A1 highway to Koper. Go about 60 km to the Razdrto junction then you continue onto the H4 motorway. Go another 50 km following the signs and you can reach Nova Gorica.

- If you want to see the scenery and have plenty of time, you should take the route through the Vršic Gorge and the Soca Valley. It will take you about 3 hours and 30 minutes (excluding stops) but you will admire the majestic natural scenery from the Vršic Mountain and go along the Soca River - one of the most beautiful rivers in Slovenia and Europe.
- The third way is to go through Sežana and Štanjel. It will take you about 1 hour and 50 minutes to reach Nova Gorica. Following this route you will have the opportunity to stop at Lipica Stud Farm, world famous for its sky-colored horses - Lipizzaners. After stopping at one of the most famous attractions in Slovenia, you will continue on your way to Štanjel, the most beautiful and ancient town of the Karst region. From here you will reach Nova Gorica in about 30 km.
