How do I get there?
- The quickest and cheapest way to get from Ljubljana (the capital of Slovenia).To reach Nova Gorica, take the A1 highway towards Koper. After about 60 km, you'll reach the Razdrto junction, then turn onto the H4 motorway. Continue for another 50 km following the signs, and you'll arrive at Nova Gorica.

- If you want to explore the scenery and have plenty of time, you should take the route through the Vršic Gorge and Soca Valley. It will take you about 3 hours and 30 minutes (excluding stops) but you will be able to admire the magnificent natural scenery from the Vršic mountain and travel along the Soca River - one of the most beautiful rivers in Slovenia and Europe.
- The third option is to travel via Sežana and Štanjel. It will take approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes to reach Nova Gorica. Following this route, you'll have the opportunity to stop at Lipica Stud Farm, world-famous for its sky-blue horses – Lipizzaners. After stopping at one of Slovenia's most famous attractions, you'll continue on to Štanjel, the most beautiful and historic town in the Karst region. From there, it's about 30 km to Nova Gorica.
