Vietnamese cuisine has always been a topic that attracts the attention of tourists and international media. Most recently, three Vietnamese dishes were mentioned in an article honoring the South China Morning Post (SCMP) - Hong Kong's most prestigious English-language newspaper about the best breakfast dishes in Asia.

First is banh mi - a popular Vietnamese dish that is "loved" by most domestic and foreign diners. This dish is also listed in the Oxford dictionary. SCMP newspaper describes Vietnamese banh mi as a "flavor bomb". Despite its small size, banh mi contains a rich filling of ham, butter, pate, eggs, pork floss, pickles, herbs,... and other sauces of your choice. Banh mi is a popular breakfast dish in Vietnam and is sold at many street stalls or sidewalk restaurants across the country.
The second dish mentioned in this article is pho - the Vietnamese dish most loved by foreign diners and has been honored in many international culinary rankings.

While banh mi and pho are familiar names in many culinary rankings, Bun Bo Hue is also a dish that is not inferior in both flavor and popularity. This is a typical dish of the ancient capital and has become famous throughout the country with its elaborate broth and unique flavor that is difficult to mix. Previously, Bun Bo Hue was recognized as an Asian record, in the top 100 dishes with Asian culinary value recognized by the Asian Record Organization.
The author of the article also added that Vietnamese pho and bun bo Hue are not only suitable for breakfast, but can also be eaten at any meal of the day, even at night.
