According to Travel+Leisure magazine, Phu Quoc Island was voted the second most beautiful island in the world by its readers. This is a category within the framework of the annual World's Best Award.
Travel+Leisure, a US publication, has just announced its list of the 25 most beautiful islands and archipelagos in the world this year, promising exciting experiences for travelers. The islands selected are all wonderful destinations, offering visitors a respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, sharing common features such as pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, tranquil scenery, and suitability for "healing" and outdoor activities like surfing, snorkeling, and vibrant festivals.
Phu Quoc Island proudly ranks second in the list of the 25 most beautiful islands in the world, as selected by an American magazine.
According to the rankings, the island nation of Maldives, located in the Indian Ocean, holds the top position with a total score of 95.63. This destination has received countless glowing reviews from tourists, and is described as "paradise on earth".
Vietnam's "Pearl Island," Phu Quoc, took second place with a score of 94.41. Travel+Leisure noted that its tranquility is considered the island's greatest strength. Located in the Gulf of Thailand, Phu Quoc is renowned for its pristine beaches and luxurious resorts. According to the Kien Giang Department of Tourism, Phu Quoc welcomed 500,000 foreign tourists in the first six months of this year, a 44% increase compared to the same period last year.
Phu Quoc Island is known as the precious gem of Vietnam, with its peaceful and romantic beauty.

This result not only confirms the pristine natural beauty, smooth white sandy beaches, and luxurious resorts of Phu Quoc, but also demonstrates the island's enormous tourism development potential.
With this title, Phu Quoc promises to attract even more international tourists, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality and elevating Vietnam's tourism standing in the international market.
Phu Quoc boasts a diverse ecosystem with pristine forests, long stretches of white sandy beaches, and turquoise waters. The beaches in Phu Quoc are considered among the most beautiful on the planet, with fine white sand, clear blue water, and majestic natural scenery. Furthermore, resorts, hotels, and tourism services in Phu Quoc are constantly improving to meet the diverse needs of visitors.
However, alongside the joy, we also need to be aware of the importance of protecting and preserving the beautiful values of Phu Quoc. Developing sustainable, environmentally friendly tourism that ensures benefits for the local community is crucial for Phu Quoc to maintain its position as one of the most beautiful islands in the world.
