Minh Hao's journey began in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, and he shared that choosing a bicycle instead of a motorbike was a decision that ensured he wouldn't miss precious moments along the way. "Motorbikes are too fast; I was afraid I'd miss beautiful moments that can only be experienced when moving slowly. A bicycle gives me time to appreciate everything around me," Minh Hao shared.
Indeed, with each pedal stroke, Minh Hao pauses to breathe in the air of each region, enjoying the pristine beauty of nature and meaningful everyday moments.
Minh Hao and her cross-Vietnam bicycle trip.
A journey through the rain and breathtaking regional scenery.
Starting from Long Hai, Minh Hao traveled along the coastal road, heading north. But the weather wasn't always on his side. His long journey through Nha Trang and Da Nang was marked by continuous rain, sometimes lasting for nine consecutive days. Even so, those rains became profound memories that Hao will never forget.

During this journey, Minh Hao encountered quite a few inconveniences due to the weather.
And of course, there were the encounters with local people, from central to northern Vietnam. Minh Hao recounted the times he stopped to chat with the locals, share simple meals, and feel the warmth of human connection. “Just put your ego aside, smile brightly, and everyone will open their hearts to welcome you. That makes me feel that my country is truly beautiful, not only in its scenery but also in its people,” he said.
Throughout his journey, one place stood out for Minh Hao – the Ha Giang pass. The steep, 1,000-meter-high section of the road was the biggest challenge of his trip. “The scenery was breathtaking, but I was completely exhausted by the time I got there. However, that feeling only made me love this land even more,” he said with a smile.

The Vietnamese landscapes appear breathtakingly vibrant.
Go on a journey to rediscover the meaning of life.
Every day, Minh Hao cycles not only to immerse himself in the beautiful scenery but also to find peace in the slow pace of the bike. He's not in a hurry, nor is he under time pressure. "Riding slowly isn't about being slow to progress, but about living more deeply. That's one of the things I only truly understand when cycling," he expressed. His days on the bike are days he feels closer to life, as each road, each village, has its own story.

Traveling far away is also a way to confront ourselves, face our fears, and learn to calmly handle any situation.
The trip was also an opportunity for Minh Hao to confront himself, face his fears, and learn how to calmly handle any situation. “Cycling across Vietnam helped me understand myself better, bravely face challenges, and overcome them. That’s something not everyone can do in normal life,” he shared.
Although this trip is not yet over, Minh Hao has gained invaluable experiences, from the people he met along the way, the flavorful regional dishes, to the tranquility that can only be felt when cycling alone through deserted roads.

This journey allowed the young man to rediscover himself.
When asked for advice for those wanting to try a similar journey, Minh Hao sincerely shared: “Listen to your heart, do what you truly want to do, and don’t be afraid of challenges. Whether you’re cycling or using any other means, the most important thing is that you live life to the fullest and have no regrets.”

Meet the friendly locals.
Experience and see Vietnam from many different perspectives; these are invaluable memories.
Minh Hao's journey across Vietnam was not just a trip, but an adventure with himself, where he found maturity, courage, and a deeper love for the land of Vietnam.
