A pub called Juden Highball, located in Hokkaido, Japan, will start welcoming guests from the beginning of February - Valentine's month, as a shelter and comfort for singles, or even those who do not want to go drinking with a group of friends or lovers.

By arranging all the seats with single and partitioned seats along with a tablet for ordering, the pub both ensures a certain distance between customers during the Covid-19 season and maintains the Japanese drinking culture - drinking alcohol with snacks.

The pub’s name, “Juden,” means “recovery,” and it’s intended to provide a private space for anyone feeling unsteady with the drastic changes brought on by the pandemic. And, even after Covid-19 is over, it will still be open for introverted customers who need a place to unwind.
