The "Searching for the Gemstone" live performance program utilizes modern multimedia technology to recreate the cultural and historical flow preserved through generations. Through stories of legends associated with the Quang Ninh region, the program introduces the unique cultural values of the locality. Viewers will experience a multi-sensory performance, combining a modern sound and lighting system, delivering powerful visual and emotional effects throughout the show.
Furthermore, this new tourism product is a seamless and harmonious combination of theatrical performing arts with dance and circus, created by seasoned directors and advisors: Director Le Thanh Phong; Advisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen The Ky, Chairman of the Central Council for Literary and Artistic Theory and Criticism; Director, People's Artist Le Chuc; People's Artist Hoang Quynh Mai, People's Artist Tong Toan Thang; Music Director People's Artist Nguyen Huynh Tu; Dance Director Le Viet; Circus Director Meritorious Artist Ngo Le Thang, along with a cast of talented and professional artists.
Quang Ninh has just launched a new tourism and cultural product: a live performance art program combined with culinary experiences called "Searching for the Gemstone," scheduled to debut this summer at Ngoc Rong Cave (Vung Duc, Cam Pha City).
Director and People's Artist Le Chuc shared: "Dragon Pearl Cave is a special theatrical space that can incorporate cultural values to highlight the natural heritage and develop into a tourism product. The 'Searching for the Pearl' adventure is designed as an ideal exploration journey, especially attractive to international tourists."
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen The Ky - Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; former member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam; former Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department; former Director General of the Voice of Vietnam Radio - Special professional advisor of the program, also added: "Sound and light have contributed to highlighting the majestic beauty of nature, creating a good visual and emotional effect. This could become a factor attracting domestic and international tourists. The art program also contributes to promoting the image of Quang Ninh and Vietnam, and has the potential to contribute to the development of the cultural industry."

According to Mr. Nguyen Hong Nhat, General Director of APC Corporation (the unit coordinating the operation of the light refreshments tour combined with art performances at Ngoc Rong Cave), the company has listened to the opinions of management agencies, experts, and the press, and has therefore begun researching and changing existing shortcomings and limitations based on the principle of eliminating previous interventions that are incompatible with the landscape and historical site. APC Corporation has developed and implemented an operation plan that ensures compliance with current regulations, while also proposing investment and development solutions for the tourist destination to meet the needs of visitors.
The program is part of the plan to develop new products of Quang Ninh province, according to Decision No. 3398/QD-UBND dated August 31, 2017, of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province on recognizing tourist destinations in Cam Pha City, Quang Ninh province, including the tourist destination, historical site and scenic spot of Vung Duc, Cam Dong ward, Cam Pha City.
