To create a highlight for summer tourism, Quang Ninh province will launch a night market featuring cruise ships during the upcoming April 30th - May 1st holiday. The Ha Long night market will feature approximately 30 selected tourist boats with modern designs, ensuring safe operation. These ships will serve tourists for sightseeing tours of Ha Long Bay during the day and offer culinary experiences at the night market in the evenings.
The cruise ship night market is arranged along both sides of the pier of Ha Long International Cruise Port. The night market operates from 6 PM to 10 PM daily.

The cruise ship night market tourism product was created to add a highlight and boost tourism in Ha Long, Quang Ninh after the Covid-19 pandemic. Introducing cruise ships to serve food and drinks to tourists at night will help alleviate the burden on onshore restaurants during peak tourist seasons, as well as optimize the efficiency of ships operating in Ha Long Bay.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Long City, said that Ha Long City is also studying the possibility of coordinating with the management unit of Ha Long International Passenger Port to organize other stalls and events to add more vibrancy to the night street.

In addition, Ha Long City will also implement a series of activities to stimulate tourism in the area. Some highlight activities, branded events include: the Ha Long Summer Carnival 2022; the Winter Carnival; the Tran Quoc Nghien Temple Festival; a literary and artistic creation camp, an art photography exhibition; and street music programs performed by young artists every Saturday and Sunday...
Ms. Vu Thi Van Oanh, Deputy Head of the Culture and Information Department of Ha Long City, also stated that detailed construction and operation plans have been approved by Quang Ninh's departments and agencies, including plans for ensuring security and order, fire prevention and control, oil spill response, and even plans for cases of poisoning.
