According to data from the Da Lat City Department of Culture and Information, Da Lat is expected to welcome approximately 180,000 tourists and vacationers on April 30th this year. Of these, about 140,000 will register for overnight stays. This figure represents a 135% increase compared to last year.
During the weekend from April 30th to May 2nd, services in the city are expected to be overwhelmed due to the large influx of tourists. According to surveys, many hotels and accommodations in Da Lat have announced that they are fully booked during the peak days of this year's holiday.
According to the Da Lat Department of Culture and Information, the city currently has more than 2,230 accommodation establishments with over 29,000 bedrooms and 46,600 beds, capable of accommodating approximately 50,000 tourists at the same time.
Da Lat is expected to welcome around 180,000 visitors during the April 30th - May 1st holiday.
Despite the crowds during peak seasons, tourism in Da Lat shows no signs of slowing down.
In the near future, Da Lat will also host many events aimed at promoting tourism and attracting more visitors. Specifically,Lam Dong Tourism Golden Week 2022The event will take place from April 21-30, featuring 4 venues and 10 programs across the city.
The promotional space "Lam Dong Tourism - Journey and Aspiration" is located in the fountain area of Lam Vien Square, Da Lat, featuring 30 booths. The art photography exhibition "Highland Flavors" at the Dalat Palace Hotel showcases artistic photographs of scenic spots, cultural heritage, cuisine, traditional crafts, festivals, and daily life. The culinary space "Delicious Da Lat Dishes" is held in Xuan Huong Park to introduce and promote the cuisine of Da Lat and Lam Dong. Finally, the space introducing the culture of the indigenous ethnic groups of Lam Dong province, themed "Convergence and Dissemination," is located on Ho Tung Mau Street (Xuan Huong Park area). Especially during the Golden Week, there will be a showcase of the cultural spaces of various ethnic communities, booths, and the fountain park in Lam Vien Square (Da Lat).
