This trip to the mountainous provinces and cities of Northern Vietnam aims to give customers the opportunity to experience and explore models best suited to the terrain. With four flagship models – Koleos, Duster, Megane, and Sandero – the program will start in the center of Lao Cai city, then loop up to the tourist town of Sapa, followed by Lai Chau city, and ending in Yen Bai city. In addition to providing the chance to experience Renault Vietnam's models, existing Renault owners in these locations will also receive free vehicle inspections and on-site maintenance with Renault Mobile Service.
The Koleos is a familiar SUV model from Renault in the Vietnamese market. Distinguished by its robust and somewhat "muscular" design, along with a powerful 2.5L engine, the Koleos excels at off-road driving and boasts a range of safety features including: a 6-airbag system, automatic electronic parking brake, ABS anti-lock braking system, EBD brake force distribution, EBA emergency brake assist, ESP electronic stability control, TCS traction control, BSW blind spot monitoring system (4x4 Privilege version), HAS hill start assist and HDC hill descent control (4x4 Privilege version), and front and rear parking sensors.
The Duster was first introduced at the 2015 International Motor Show as another Renault SUV model in Vietnam, but at a more affordable price for the majority of consumers. Emphasizing its off-road capability, the Renault Duster boasts a ground clearance of up to 210 mm, along with a 2.0L engine and all-wheel drive. The vehicle is equipped with basic amenities and safety systems that meet European standards.
Next up is the Renault Megane hatchback. The exterior of the Renault Megane Hatchback is very popular with its modern and stylish design. The front of the car is impressive with its distinctive diamond-shaped logo, elongated headlights, projector-style headlights, and stylized headlight bezels resembling eyelids. Although primarily designed for city driving, with its 1.6L engine, the car doesn't feel too underpowered on light mountain roads.
Finally, there's the most affordable and versatile model from Renault: the Sandero Stepway. Measuring 4,080mm long, 1,994mm wide, and 1,618mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,589mm, it targets young customers who enjoy driving and exploring new roads. Its 1.6L engine provides smooth performance on a variety of road conditions.
