Renault launches two new models at the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show

On the first day, which was also the press conference day of the Geneva International Motor Show, Switzerland, Renault officially unveiled two new flagship models, the Megane Estate and the MPV Scenic, with the presence of group chairman Carlos Ghosn and Dutch vice president and chief designer Laurens Van Den Acker.

At this exhibition, the focus will be on the compact family MPV Scenic. "The new Scenic truly redefines the MPV segment," said Carlos Ghosn, chairman and CEO. "Building on a long-standing reputation as a user-friendly vehicle, the new Scenic is ready to meet the needs of today's customers and inherits the legacy of the previous generation of a pioneering model thanks to its groundbreaking and distinctive design."

Renault Scenic

All-new Renault Scenic

- A modern MPV that combines superior driving experience and convenience for the whole family.

- Breakthrough design in the MPV segment comes with 20-inch rims, different from the traditional design.

- The convenient interior includes a center console and one-touch Folding function that allows the rear seats to be folded with just the push of a button.

- The vehicle is equipped with standard automatic emergency braking system (Automatic Emergecy Braking System) when detecting pedestrians to help avoid collisions.

- Similar to the new Espace model, the exclusive MULTI-SENSE technology comes with an 8.7-inch R-LINK screen and a transparent HUD (Head-Up Display) display.

- To meet market demand, the car has two versions including gasoline and diesel engines, and a hybrid diesel and electric engine.

- The Grand Scenic, a larger version, will be launched before summer this year.

- Scenic and Grand Scenic will go on sale in 2016.

 

 

RenaultMegane Estate

All-new Megane Estate

- More dynamic and elegant design than the previous generation.

- The Megane Estate GT version is equipped with the 4Control system, which helps 4 wheels operate at the same time to help the car be controlled more smoothly on winding roads or bad terrain. This version also has the typical style of a sports car in the Renault Sport style.

- The interior is scientifically designed with optimal and largest waiting space in the segment.

- Both the Megane Estate and Megane Estate GT will go on sale in September 2016

Renault ZOE Swiss edition

- Renault also introduced a premium version of the ZOE, Europe's best-selling electric car.

- The Swiss version will have unique colors, equipped with high-quality leather seats and a famous Bose sound system.

It is known that in 2016, Renault will launch 10 new car models worldwide. This also means that Renault has become the most "rejuvenated" brand in Europe.
