On the afternoon of November 14th, a press conference introducing KILORUN Hanoi 2019 took place, attended by Mr. Kriengkarn Kanjanapokin – Co-CEO of Index Creative Village PLC and KILORUN's Creative Director, and Ms. Topaz Subanruk – Director of Development and Sustainability, AirAsia Group – the festival's main sponsor. At the press conference, Mr. Kanjanapokin shared that: “KILORUN is an international festival that combines running, culinary exploration, and enjoyment all in one journey.”

With the idea of giving participants the opportunity to discover the hidden beauty, unique culture, and especially to enjoy the specialty dishes of each country visited, KILORUN has been successfully organized in Asian cities such as KILORUN BANGKOK (Thailand), KILORUN BALI (Indonesia), and now in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. The event will take place on March 2nd, 2019 at Ly Thai To Flower Garden, Hanoi, with an expected attendance of up to 2,500 people.

KILORUN Hanoi 2019 consists of two categories: KM (Kilometers) and KG (Kilograms).
- KM category: Registration time is from 5:00 AM to 8:30 AM at Ly Thai To Park, Hanoi. Participants will run through famous landmarks of the city such as the Ly Thai To Monument, Hoan Kiem Lake, the Old Quarter, etc. The race is divided into 3 stages: L RUN 10.7 KM, M RUN 6.7 KM, and S RUN 2.3 KM
- Category KG: Registration time is from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Participants can walk or run while enjoying Hanoi's specialty dishes such as bun cha, banh goi, bun thang, xoi xeo, etc., along a 2.3 km route.
Upon arrival, participants will receive a uniquely designed KILORUN T-shirt and a KILORUN apron with versatile pockets for storing spoons, forks, and chopsticks while running. Additionally, those who achieve outstanding results will be rewarded with adorable medals at the event.
