Every December, the rubber roads in the Southeast and Central Highlands change their appearance, creating a brilliant scene. Without having to go too far from Ho Chi Minh City, in Dau Tieng District, Binh Duong, visitors can easily encounter such roads. If the rubber forest in Dinh Hiep Commune is known as a historical relic witnessing the indomitable resilience of our army and people during the French colonial period, the rubber forest in Thanh An Commune is loved by many people because of its captivating landscape. Getting here is extremely convenient, just a 2-hour motorbike ride in the direction of National Highway 13 from the center of Ho Chi Minh City.
Rubber is an industrial tree grown in many provinces in the Southeast and Central Highlands. Latex is the raw material for producing natural rubber. The forests of love create poetic roads at the end of the year.
According to Mr. Vien Dieu Phat - a person with many years of experience in taking photos and exploring new places around Ho Chi Minh City, Dau Tieng rubber garden will change leaves from December of the previous year until March of the following year. However, the best time to admire this scene is in the 12th lunar month, when most of the tree canopy has changed color. The towering treetops seem to be wearing a new, brilliant "coat" stretching far and wide. The fallen leaves, whether intentionally or unintentionally, are arranged quite neatly, in a way, creating a wild scene but still as if cleaned by human hands.

The rubber forests in Dau Tieng seem to change their "clothes" every week, because the layers of leaves do not change color evenly throughout the forest but are divided into plots of land. This week the forest may have scattered dark yellow leaves on a green background, but after only 1 week, the yellow leaves and green leaves are equal, and turn red the following week. Then the red and yellow colors gradually deepen before falling, bringing a feeling of surprise to everyone who has ever set foot here.
Dawn and dusk are the best times to admire the rubber forests glowing in the sunlight.
Visitors can stroll here all day, but the best time is from 6am to 8am or 3pm to 5pm. At each time of the day, Dau Tieng rubber forest has its own beauty. In the morning, light fog covers the forest like a hazy curtain. In the afternoon, bright sunlight helps to clarify the natural colors of the leaves.
Wandering among the roads in the rubber forest, you will feel like you are lost in the scene of a movie.
After arriving here, visitors can combine visiting famous local tourist attractions such as Suoi Truc and Dau Tieng Lake. Large groups can go picnicking and camping overnight. However, note that you should not stay overnight in the rubber forest because this area is quite deserted and dangerous, especially for small groups.
