As part of the annual event eagerly awaited by tourists every summer, the Fansipan Rose Festival 2025, themed "Brilliant Amidst the Clouds," will bloom at the Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area from April 26th to May 5th. Throughout the three summer months, millions of elegant roses will showcase their beauty, leading visitors to discover a series of colorful cultural and artistic activities, promising to enrich their experience at the "Roof of Indochina."
The heart of the festival is the vast rose valley, one of Vietnam's largest rose gardens, spanning 50,000 square meters. It boasts hundreds of thousands of rare rose varieties, carefully selected from around the world, alongside ancient Sa Pa rose varieties that bear the distinctive mark of the local area. Visitors will be amazed by the majestic beauty of Abraham Darby, the elegance of Society, the freshness of Catalina, the charm of Molineux, the allure of Juliet, the mysterious black of Black Baccarat, the passionate allure of Rouge Royale, and the romanticism of Spirit of Freedom...
As one of the most anticipated annual festivals in Sa Pa, the 2025 Rose Festival will be held at the Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area with the theme "Brilliant Amidst the Clouds".
This year, Fansipan Rose Valley is further adorned with unique and creative miniature landscapes. A giant rose proudly reaches upwards, a rose book depicting romantic love stories of the highlands, a dreamy flower path with angel statues leading the way, graceful artistic rose arches, and a princess dress and hot air balloon made from hundreds of fresh flowers...
Beyond simply immersing yourself in breathtaking scenery, the Rose Festival also offers a diverse "paradise of experiences" suitable for all ages. The Sweet Market, inspired by the beauty and fragrance of roses, is where visitors can shop and enjoy unique food and drinks such as refreshing rose ice cream, sweet rose tea, and exquisite pastries. Amidst the vibrant colors and cool weather characteristic of Fansipan, visitors can relax, sip tea, and enjoy lively artistic performances showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the highlands.

In addition, the festival also offers unique and fun folk games such as "Carrying Love to Pick Roses," "Northwest Dance," etc., which are organized throughout the festival season, contributing to the lively atmosphere of the highlands and bringing refreshing laughter, along with the chance to win attractive prizes.
Another special highlight of the festival is the colorful rose carnival parade, which travels from the Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area to the center of Sa Pa town. Thousands of fresh roses are meticulously decorated on magnificent electric vehicles and horse-drawn carriages, along with the participation of 300 ethnic artisans in traditional costumes, ready to spread the vibrant colors of Fansipan throughout the misty town.
The main venue of the festival is located in Vietnam's leading rose valley, covering an area of up to 50,000m² and bringing together hundreds of thousands of rare rose bushes from all over the world.
A trip to Sapa would be incomplete without experiencing the modern Fansipan cable car system, gliding gently through fluffy white clouds, admiring the majestic beauty of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range and the shimmering terraced rice fields during the rainy season. Upon reaching the summit of Fansipan, a different world unfolds: ancient rhododendron trees in full bloom on the steep cliffs, 600 stone steps leading to the majestic Amitabha Buddha statue, and a sacred spiritual complex.
Alternatively, visitors can choose the unique mountain railway to reach the "Roof of Indochina," where the earth and sky meet. This is especially noteworthy as it's the season when rhododendrons are at their most vibrant. Therefore, visiting Fansipan during this time is like stepping into an "endless flower garden" stretching from the foot of the mountain to the summit.
Don't miss the sacred moment of the flag-raising ceremony on the summit of Fansipan, 3,143 meters high, where the national flag proudly flies amidst the clouds.
