Sapa tops the Top 10 "greenest" tourist destinations on Earth

The prestigious American travel magazine Travel & Leisure has just selected and introduced the Top 10 greenest destinations on Earth. These are places that combine fresh natural beauty with peace and impressive adventures. Among them, Sapa of Vietnam stands out with the number 1 position.

ListThe "greenest" tourist destinations on Earthwas recently selected and introduced by experts in the American magazine Travel & Leisure on December 14, based on the main criteria - that is, it is the greenest place to rest, while possessing simple but impressive natural beauty, and can create opportunities for tourists to experience adventures that promise many interesting things.

According to Color Psychology, the cool shade of the Earth helps reduce stress and improve concentration. This allows tourists to relax and enjoy the valuable benefits of the fresh green landscape during their trips, especially when visiting the "greenest" tourist destinations on Earth below.

“HEAVEN ON EARTH” - SAPA, VIETNAM

Vietnam's famous tourist destination Sapa ranked No. 1 in the list of Greenest Tourist Destinations on Earth voted by Travel & Leisure.

“Hidden in the northern mountainous region of Lao Cai province, Vietnam’s Sapa shines with its emerald rice fields on rolling green hills. It is a place where many Vietnamese and international tourists often come to relax, temporarily leaving behind the hustle and bustle of daily life. Visitors can trek overnight from one village to another, or take a 15-minute cable car ride to the “roof of Indochina” – Fansipan mountain, the highest peak in Indochina (including 3 countries Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia)” - Travel & Leisure wrote about the famous tourist destination of Sapa - a place known as one of the “paradise on Earth”.

Currently, Sapa has 13 official tourist attractions including: Silver Waterfall, 2 community tourist attractions in Ta Phin commune and Sin Chai village (San Sa Ho commune), Ma Tra village (Sa Pa commune), Ham Rong mountain, Cat Cat village, Sapa ancient rose garden, Sapa Dream rose garden, Muong Hoa valley, old forest valley, Golden stream - Love waterfall and Ta Phin stone garden.

Recently, due to the impact of Covid-19, the number of tourists to Lao Cai province in the 11 months of 2021 is estimated at about 1.3 million (equal to 26% of the yearly plan). Currently, Lao Cai tourism in general and Sapa in particular is recovering, aiming to welcome 4 million tourists, achieving a total revenue of more than 15,000 billion VND from tourism in 2022.
