Huang Xinyi, a Taylor Swift fan, said she may have to leave The Eras Tour concert early to catch her train home. She is worried about congestion and queues at train stations as thousands of people pour out of the Singapore National Stadium. "I bought tickets for the event on March 4. The venue is very crowded. If I leave later, it will take me hours to get home," she told MS News.
On March 2, Taylor Swift's first concert in the Lion Island attracted more than 50,000 attendees. The concert started at 7 p.m. and ended at 10:15 p.m. (local time). However, many fans left around 10 p.m. to avoid the crowds. As the night wore on, the crowds on the streets became more crowded, but they moved in an orderly manner.

During the Eras Tour, Singapore's public rail network SMRT will increase the frequency of trains at the National Stadium station to accommodate the surge in travel demand and ease traffic congestion, a measure that SMRT has successfully implemented for other large-scale events in the past.
At the station, SMRT staff will direct passengers and break up the crowds. Trains will arrive continuously, every two minutes, so passengers do not have to wait.
Ticket gates will be open throughout to facilitate ticket purchases. SMRT will also have empty trains on standby in case of emergency crowd dispersal.
If you want to avoid the crowds, fans can walk across the bridge near gate 14 of the National Stadium, then choose to go home via Kallang station, about 600 meters from the Stadium station.

Mr Lam Sheau Kai, Chairman of SMRT Trains, said the company prioritises ensuring passenger safety while travelling on the network.
“We are working closely with the agencies and Singapore Sports Hub to plan and implement effective crowd control measures for Taylor Swift concerts near MRT stations,” he stressed.
