After 5 seasons of organization, the Monsoon Music Festival continues to receive support from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hanoi People's Committee, and Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to return to the public of the capital this coming October.
Accordingly, Monsoon Music Festival has been identified and recognized as one of the outstanding projects in international cooperation in the music field, as well as receiving the love of the public.
With the mission of being a new source of inspiration in the field of creative culture, Monsoon Music Festival 2023 is also considered a cultural event of the Capital. Thereby, Monsoon Music Festival will develop a city festival model that appears for the first time in Vietnam.
Monsoon Music Festival 2023 will officially return to the capital's audience this coming October.
The spectacular return of Monsoon Music Festival this year will bring new inspiration to the creative team, a space for Vietnamese artists and international artists to create a festival atmosphere for the community, a cultural brand for Hanoi "Creative City" in the UNESCO Creative Cities network.
According to musician Quoc Trung, Monsoon Music Festival 2023 will have a new organizational model - a city festival model taking place over 10 days, from October 14 to 22. The festival is expected to have about 70 performances with the participation of more than 40 domestic and foreign artists/bands.
Monsoon Music Festival 2023 also takes the theme "Hang Nhac Street" - inspired by the names of 36 streets in Hanoi.
“We will bring music to every corner of Hanoi in many different spaces, meeting the community's need to enjoy cultural and artistic activities. Through the city festival model, Monsoon Music Festival will introduce to the audience a variety of performing stages. The festival will spread the atmosphere of music so that the public and tourists can feel the vibrant breath of Hanoi as well as the beauty of its 36 streets,” said musician Quoc Trung.

With the impressive return of Monsoon Music Festival in October 2023, activities of Monsoon Music Festival 2023 include:
- Opening Night at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square on October 14.
- The "Hang Nhac Street" week takes place at more than 10 locations in Hanoi's Old Quarter and central Hoan Kiem district from October 15 to 20.
- Monsoon Music Festival 2023 will close with the Thang Long Thanh Hoi night at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Historical Site on October 21 and 22.
- Monsoon Music Festival 2023 also organizes a symposium on the music industry and cultural industry from October 20 to 21.
