Hanoi Metro, a limited liability company, has officially announced the train schedule for the Lunar New Year holiday in 2025, including the Cat Linh - Ha Dong and Nho Son - Cau Giay lines.
Accordingly, on January 26th (the 27th day of the 12th lunar month), the line will open at 5:30 AM and close at 10:00 PM. Between 5:30 AM and 9:00 PM, trains will run every 10 minutes; between 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM, trains will run every 15 minutes.

On January 27th (the 28th day of the 12th lunar month), the line opens at 5:30 AM and closes at 10:00 PM. Between 5:30 AM and 8:30 PM, trains run every 10 minutes; between 8:30 PM and 10:00 PM, trains run every 15 minutes.
On January 28th (the 29th day of the Lunar New Year), the train service will open at 5:30 AM and close at 2:00 AM the following morning. Between 5:30 AM and 5:00 PM, trains will run every 10 minutes; between 5:00 PM and 2:00 AM the following morning, trains will run every 15 minutes.
On January 29th (the first day of the Lunar New Year), the train service will open at 10:00 AM and close at 10:00 PM. Between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, trains will run every 10 minutes; between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM, trains will run every 15 minutes.
On January 30th (the second day of the Lunar New Year), the train service will operate from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM, trains will run every 10 minutes; between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM, trains will run every 15 minutes.
On January 31st (the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year), the train service will open at 6:00 AM and close at 10:00 PM. Between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM, trains will run every 10 minutes; between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM, trains will run every 15 minutes.
A unique feature of the new service plan is that Hanoi's trams will run throughout the Lunar New Year's Eve of the Year of the Snake (2015).
On February 1st (the 4th day of the Lunar New Year), the train service will open at 5:30 AM and close at 10:00 PM. Between 5:30 AM and 9:00 PM, trains will run every 10 minutes; between 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM, trains will run every 15 minutes.
Determined to create a truly special Tet holiday, Hanoi Metro has decided to extend the operating hours of its trains on New Year's Eve. This decision aims to meet the maximum transportation needs of Hanoi residents and tourists, making it easier for everyone to travel to entertainment venues and festivals, and fully enjoy the traditional Tet atmosphere.
From January 20th to 26th, Cat Linh - Ha Dong station will not only be a transportation hub but also a unique cultural space. Passengers will be immersed in the traditional Tet atmosphere with exciting activities such as making their own green banh chung (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes), receiving calligraphy blessings from artisans, experiencing unique folk games like breaking clay pots and playing O An Quan (a traditional board game), and unleashing their creativity with art recycling activities.
