Jiuzhaigou in Sichuan, China, is known as 'Heaven on Earth' with red and yellow leaves reflecting on 108 large and small clear lakes. Jiuzhaigou means 'nine Tibetan villages'. The name comes from the fact that this scenic area is located in the territory of Aba Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in the north of Sichuan Province, China. The Chinese have a saying: "Huangshan returns without seeing mountains, Jiuzhaigou returns without seeing water", meaning that whoever has been to Huangshan in Anhui Province will not have to visit any other mountains, and whoever has once set foot in Jiuzhaigou will not need to see any other lakes.

Jiuzhaigou is beautiful in all four seasons. In spring, the red peach blossoms adorn the primeval forest, fluttering gently on the blue water. In summer, the clear blue sky reflects in a calm mirror. In autumn, the carpets of red and yellow leaves create a magnificent natural picture. And in winter, the white of snow and the fluttering flowers in the quiet winter afternoon, the reed branches bend in the cold wind.

By the lake, the ginkgo trees were dressed in brilliant yellow and the red maple branches blended in with the endless blue sky. The sound of the flowing water, the sound of someone's footsteps on the rotting leaves. Occasionally, under the blue water, schools of fish swished their tails in the shimmering water. The lake's surface was like a giant, transparent mirror reflecting the deep blue sky and the magical colors of autumn.

Each lake has its own beauty and is naturally arranged into magnificent paintings, including Princess Lake, Liu Mao Lake, Fire Flower Lake, Gui Jie Lake, Five Flower Lake, Bamboo Lake, and Tien Truc Lake... Bamboo Lake is 2,587 m long and 14 m deep, hidden under a lush green bamboo forest.
At this time, the forests have turned a brilliant yellow and the mosses are green in the water. The scenery is so beautiful that even if you just raise your "whistle" camera and press the shutter, you will still get a satisfactory photo because of the brilliant background behind. You will also encounter many animals such as squirrels, rabbits, woodpeckers or pandas running around in the forest.

Some people come to Jiuzhaigou because they are fascinated by the wild and charming natural beauty, some come to Jiuzhaigou because of the vast bamboo forests that bend in the wind, and many also visit the beautiful lake that was filmed in 'Hero' and 'The Condor Heroes'.

In the evening, you can sleep in Jiuzhaigou, under the simple and cozy roof of the local people. Try the fragrant mushroom hotpot and delicious hot milk tea of this land.
