November, winter comes, fog covers everywhere. The white color of fog, of drizzle blends with the pure white color of canola flowers blooming all over the valleys and hills. Moc Chau appears like an immense, endless “white plateau”.

Canola flowers bloom in Moc Chau from October to December, usually peaking in the first 2-3 weeks of November. After that, people gradually harvest to collect old canola seeds to sell to oil presses. Canola flowers are planted from the foot of one mountain to the foot of another, from one village to another valley. The whole land of Moc Chau in the early winter days seems to be immersed in a dreamy, hazy haze.

Thung Cuong village is the place where canola flowers bloom the earliest. From the end of October, the road to the village is covered in white. Ba Phach village canola flowers bloom later, this is also the place known as the "canola flower paradise" in Moc Chau with flower fields stretching far and wide. If it weren't for the bumpy, rocky dirt road and the small houses under the shade of green trees, Ba Phach village would probably look like an endless maze with no exit in sight.

If you want to enjoy a flowery sky of your own, there is no place more suitable than Ban Bua. Wandering alone on a motorbike to a deserted village, drinking a cup of warm tea in the early winter cold, you will suddenly feel your heart sink. That moment seems like you are alone in the quiet and pristine, the mountains are far away and the flowers are very close...

Some small notes for tourists coming to Moc Chau in November
- November in Moc Chau is very cold, with fog and drizzle. Visitors should bring a thin raincoat, windbreaker and sneakers.
- You should go see the flowers at noon, when the fog has cleared and the temperature is higher, the lighting conditions are also more suitable for taking photos.
- Do not pick, break, or damage people's flowers. Because most flowers are used to get seeds to sell.
