The tower renovation process has been underway since 2019.
In addition, the 324-meter-tall tower will also be fitted with 18,000 metal pieces (connected by 2.5 million rivets). The estimated cost to renovate the Eiffel Tower is expected to reach 50 million euros (approximately 1395 trillion VND).
The upgrade process is expected to be completed in 2022.
