Recently, The Anam Foundation, founded by Mr. Pham Van Hien – the founder of The Anam Group, sent 700 relief packages to people in Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak, areas severely affected by the recent historic floods.
On the morning of November 26th, The Anam charitable group, led by Mr. Pham Van Hien and including several managers from the corporation, visited Phu Vinh 1 village (Tay Nha Trang ward) to offer support and distribute 200 gift packages to residents affected by the recent floods. Each package included 10 kg of rice, essential items such as cooking oil, canned fish, and other necessities. Families facing particular hardship also received an additional 2 million VND in assistance. The program was carried out in coordination with the local government and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Nha Trang ward.
Mr. Pham Van Hien – founder of The Anam Group – personally handed over aid to households affected by the recent floods.
On November 27th, the foundation's journey continued to Dak Lak (formerly Phu Yen province), where the delegation distributed an additional 500 gift packages to families severely affected by the floods and provided financial assistance to those whose homes were destroyed. Prior to this, The Anam Foundation had also visited and donated gifts to residents of Cam Lam commune affected by the floods.
Alongside its local activities, The Anam Foundation also provided financial support to The Anam Cam Ranh employees affected by the floods. Many lived in heavily flooded areas, suffered property damage, and faced economic hardship. This timely assistance helped them to some extent stabilize their lives after the harsh weather.
Sharing his thoughts during the charity trip, Mr. Pham Van Hien said he felt proud and moved by the resilience of the people in Central Vietnam, who continue to support and help each other and readily open their hearts to the difficulties of the community. What the fund is doing is only a very small part compared to the actual needs, but every contribution is especially meaningful during this challenging period.
“We will continue to stand alongside our staff and the people of South Central Vietnam in the process of restoring their lives. I truly appreciate the solidarity of the local community, volunteer groups, and even my own team – those who have always shown willpower and compassion during difficult times,” Mr. Hien shared.
To date, the total value of support from The Anam Foundation has exceeded 500 million VND. The Foundation plans to continue implementing more practical activities, including environmental cleanup programs to help the area return to normal life as soon as possible.
The Anam Foundation is sustained in part by the annual profits of The Anam Group – the owner of The Anam Cam Ranh, The Anam Mui Ne, and the Axi Plaza convention center. This provides a stable source of funding for the foundation to continue implementing community initiatives. Recently, the foundation has also supported the construction of sturdy houses for disadvantaged families near The Anam Mui Ne.
This week, the fund distributed 700 relief packages to people in Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak provinces affected by floods. Previously, the delegation also visited and donated gifts to residents of Cam Lam commune. It is expected that on November 27, 2025, The Anam will continue to distribute 500 relief packages to people in Phu Yen (formerly), bringing the total value of support in this phase to over 500 million VND.
These relief efforts further demonstrate The Anam's commitment to the community – a commitment it pursues in its long-term development strategy. The company stated that it will continue its charitable programs to support disadvantaged areas in the future.
