The Sementnozavodsky region in Russia is located near the coal mining town of Vorkuta in the Komi Republic, northwest Russia, where winter temperatures can drop to -50oC. Vorkuta was once one of the Soviet Union's most prosperous and wealthy towns, developed to serve the mining industry. Many workers left the town when the coal mines closed and unemployment in the area rose rapidly.
Abandoned for a long time, the town became desolate and deserted like a "ghost" town. Now, this place only has rows of dilapidated high-rise buildings, no one passing by and rows of trucks standing silently, covered in dust and snow.

However, in the thick layer of pure white snow covering the buildings and vehicles in Sementnozavodsky, this place still gives the feeling of an infinite land that seems to have been forgotten by time, almost disappeared from the world.
