Even though this is his 8th visit to "Memories of Hoi An," To Thai Hung (Travel Blogger To Di Dau) is still captivated by the heroic and tragic historical story of Vietnam in general and Hoi An in particular. "If you've ever been to Hoi An, you shouldn't miss this world's largest-scale live performance!" To Di Dau shared.
Travel blogger Tô Đi Đâu has seen the show eight times but is still captivated by the world's most beautiful live performance – Memories of Hoi An.
Memories of Hoi An come alive more vividly than ever before.
The "Memories of Hoi An" performance is told through multiple artistic languages: dance, light, sound, and music, combined with props and modern technology to create a spectacular, vibrant, and emotionally charged show. Through 60 minutes of performance by 500 dancers, "Memories of Hoi An" transports visitors back to the pioneering era of settlement and the cultural beauty of the Vietnamese people in general, and the people of Hoi An in particular.
Despite having seen similar shows in other countries, Tô Đi Đâu couldn't help but express his pride when mentioning "Memories of Hoi An": "It feels so proud to see the beauty of the culture and listen to the heroic historical stories of our nation. All of this is expressed through the performances of talented artists with meticulous preparation and a polished, sublime presentation." "Memories of Hoi An" truly touched his heart, as well as the hearts of his foreign friends and overseas Vietnamese who followed Tô Đi Đâu to see the show.

The show was performed on a 25,000 m2 stage, the largest outdoor stage in Vietnam, with the natural setting of an island in the middle of the Thu Bon River.
"Memories of Hoi An" opens with an image of a girl weaving continuously for 60 minutes, in the everyday life of Hoi An residents. Act 2 presents a fascinating fairytale world based on the wedding of Princess Huyen Tran, recreating the Champa period authentically and vividly. Next is the love story of a couple separated by distance, cleverly interwoven into the lives of Hoi An fishermen. Act 4 recreates the spirit of Hoi An during its prosperous period as a famous trading port throughout Southeast Asia. The 60-minute live performance concludes with a fashion show of traditional ao dai (Vietnamese long dress) in an ancient architectural setting.

With meticulous planning, elaborate preparation, and a sublime performance by 500 actors, the show evokes indescribable emotions in visitors.
