Different from the hustle and bustle of the Saigon streets outside, the quiet and relaxing Dang Dung alley takes the wanderer on a journey with memories. The roof is curved and graceful, the yellow light is just enough to see the face of the person next to you... enough for you to know that you need to take off your dirty, tired shirt, to be ready to step into a cozy space that evokes some familiar things.
Warm and cozy, it brings our souls back to familiar things...
Vietnamese soul is simple but profound
Sitting down on a wooden chair, looking around, the question popped into my head, "What is Mien?" - just in time, Mien's "family" poured a full glass of water, slowly saying: "My Mien has three layers of meaning: it is the curved tiled roof, it is the magnolia flower in the restaurant decor, and it is also the endless experience and feeling of each diner when they come here."
Meticulous in every decor detail
The space of the restaurant is meticulously designed, every small detail bears the mark of Vietnamese culture. The ceiling is made of wooden bars that evoke the feeling of a trellis of squash in the garden, the decorative columns look like familiar bamboo trees, the linen curtain under the light looks like a streak of early morning sunlight... All blend together, bringing us back to familiar memories, a very simple old countryside.
Still a cultural story, but told in a new, creative way.
But Mien Saigon is not a restaurant with a nostalgic style. This place is memorable because of its creative space, traditional features are harmoniously combined with modern style. The ao dai of the staff, the way the dishes are presented, the music... all have a youthful, fresh breath.
Van Hoa Menu: A culinary journey through time
The Van Hoa menu at Mien Saigon is like a handwritten letter, conveying the chef's love for food. Each dish is a story, a memory of family and homeland.
The menu consists of 14 dishes divided into three chapters: grandparents, parents and children; recreating the culinary journey of Vietnamese people through many generations. From rustic dishes such as river shrimp, bo bo to more creative and modern dishes... the Van Hoa menu brings diners a diverse and rich culinary experience.

Enjoy sitting and watching the dishes make the story
Every dish at Mien Saigon is meticulously prepared, from the selection of ingredients to the presentation. What is most impressive is the way the staff cherishes and conveys the meaning and value of each dish through the stories they tell to the diners. The flavors of the dishes are both familiar and new, the stories are close but also full of creativity, making diners surprised and delighted.
Squid leaves and squash buds, keeping the original sweet taste of Phan Thiet squid, steamed until cooked and grilled squash buds to blend the flavors.
Shaved ice - the taste of childhood
If "Van Hoa" were a wordplay, it would be "Van Hoa", because we can see the subtlety and creativity hidden in every thought and every smallest detail of Mien. Going through three chapters of Van Hoa, diners seem to be wandering on a cultural train. Letting memories suddenly flood back, we meet ourselves of the old, familiar days...
The box is the end point for the "train" of taste experiences.
If you want to find a place to return to old memories, to feel the Vietnamese soul in every dish, Mien Saigon is the ideal place to return. There, we can not only enjoy nostalgic dishes but also immerse ourselves in a space full of emotions, complete with connection.
